I think someone loves their SuperMTA ❤. Boy howdy that’s a nice tractor, and every little or big thing you do to make it Farmall Fanatic worthy just makes it that much sharper. When you’re done with it and it’s sporting new rubber all around it you’ll have one the best looking (working) Farmall Super MTA’s around. Sure, there’s a few museum & collector ones out there but you’re pulling chicken coups and 14ft disc not paper mache’ parade floats. Great job brother! Thanks for sharing it with us.
I am sooo glad YOU are the one who got a hold of that tractor. It deserved an owner who would take care of any unintentional neglect you found. CONGRATULATIONS. What an awesome tractor.
I put a JD in every one of my Farmalls. The first time my Dad saw one of them he laughed so hard. Great memory! RIP Pops I hope they had a Super C for you in heaven!!!
@@FarmallFanatic As much as I like my green tractors, I'm really jonesing to get this one back together. It's quite a mutt, but I like it just the same. Wouldn't mind adding a 400 or 450 Diesel to the fleet one day, too.
Tractor looks great and well maintained now. I just recently found your channel and enjoying the video's and learning some stuff from them. I just bought a Farmall 560 gas from a auction about a week ago and working on doing some maintenance and tlc to it.
The little deere is a cute touch! Ever notice how everyone hates on deere guys, but don't usually have the same animosity towards all other brand guys? Deere guys definitely have an attitude about them and there is so much J.D. labeled crap on the market, all the posers have hats, shirts and front plates, but half the time don't even have a J.D. lawn tractor! 😂
Sounds & runs real good, in the south we turn our rain caps toward the steering wheel like you did to keep a limb on a tree from tearing it off while it is up .
Excellent video Gino :) also myself plus dad always changed Thermostat in tractors on farm to International tractor and combine plus water pumps rebuilt to even gasket too plus antifreeze fluid to plus hoses to even hardware! How now Thermostat and Water pump not working is one is burn hot engine temperature in Middle or higher reading on gauge ! Feeling engine work harder plus hot 🔥 feeling like in hot fire by burn barrel or hot outside temperature is number 2 and burn lots more gas or fuel than normal use ! Also how know belts tension on Generator or Water pump right on low idle gauge on Cold Starts show + side plus fan and Generator or Alternator go round same speed plus belts no skipping to or floppy look on pulleys or stretch more 1/4 play ! Also when put medium or highest Idle the Gauge should read 15 to 10 amps and Alternator not Feeling Red 🔥 hot or glow red on metal! Plus low idle see Screwdriver easy pull off back circle button or falls off got right and when high idle Screwdriver sticks on don't fall off stays on got all right Boom 👍 ! Like new style red belts to Gino never used one yet or install and sometime soon maybe on repairs for Red Power Boom 💥 tractors Lol! Keep up Excellent Work Gino on SMTA and let's party for next videos or any Red Power Boom 💥 tractors!
Congrats on putting your final touches on your Super MTA and getting out into the field. Glad it passed the chicken coop test !!! Many good years ahead with the Super MTA
Great video 👍 my good lady got me an IH cap from the USA it wasn't cheap but it's made of leather with a Leather IH badge on it 👌don't think it'll ever wear out as it's certainly had the rust protection programme 🙄🤣 that is a prime example of Red Power 💥 that SMTA 👌
That horse barely knew the coop was back there 💢 Great seeing all the things you did to get it up to snuff. Thanks for the videos. I'm think im going to try that link belt myself on my M.
I’m super impressed brother! You never disappoint! I’ve never seen one of those red link belt before, but definitely looks good! Wonder if they make an orange one??😂
I'll take the blame when that belt fails. ⛓👍I want to give you a heads up on what happened to my SMTA. I have one of those fancy dipstick like what you have on your H. Last week I pulled it out and oil ran out of it. So I put a pan under it and about a quart ran out, it wasn't milky so it wasn't antifreeze. It was hydraulic oil in with the engine oil Come to find out it's the seal between the pump and the distributor. Keep an eye on yours if it was neglected like mine was. My pump didn't have any oil in the reservoir when I purchased the tractor and dried the seal out. Looks like I'm purchasing a new pump. 💰
That’s awesome she is purring like a kitten. When you pulled it out of the shed sweet Caroline was playing in my head at the chorus ha ha😂! One thing I’ve had luck in the past on those pitted surfaces I’d use my bench top belt sander and lightly apply pressure and dress them up some that way and still apply gasket maker! Looks awesome and a permanent fixture on the channel!
Whattttt? Link Belt!? Hey Mr. Fanatic, I learn something new every day, I didn't know they still made link belts. I have only seen these belts on old Ford model T or model A's . I think those belt were used way back, before our time Anyway cool.
Awesome tractor! You were very lucky to get it! Tractors like this super MTA do not come up for sale every day! I have to agree with you putting an in-line filter on is a great idea
Hello Gino interesting ive never seen a link belt. That would be great for saving time on replacement. That toy John Deere is a great ideal give that extra power. Tractor looks great nice work.
I'm 70. Learned on a M. We had magneto ignition. Either boost it off or crank. Dad said if it did not start easy it would not work. In this country they would usually pull 2 14 inch bottoms.
Nothing wrong with that type belt. Easy to remove a link if it stretches to far. Have not heard of boiling a stat for years to check operation. Think that goes back to the F series tractors. If the stat housing was too pitted we could run a file across the face or we would cut a gasket out of cork instead of paper. Don't they make a sediment bowl with a filter inside the glass bowl to back up the screen? Can't wait to see it pull a disk. We finally got a drizzle of rain.
What a mess, I wouldn't expect anything less! Running over the tools now that's original unedited action! It's not just me that runs their tools over anymore! LOL
Nice, now work it. Don't pick on the 5010s,my uncle had one and never grunted under any circumstance. Like the vids. Finally got some rain 🌧 in cheese 🧀 head land 😋!
That red belt which that i use it because it would probably last longer until i got another belt if it works id use it like i said im a IH fan and a IH man and red power 👍👍
I've never used a link belt. Don't see anything wrong with that. I've never used the gasket sealant on those, either. I just use the gaskets and never had one leak, as they are fairly thick. It sure runs nice. If you disc you'll find fourth gear is too fast. The Supers are geared different than the regular Ms, and 4th gear is a mile an hour faster.
