8:52 « the oil oud is high lu concentrated »… : guys dont trust these words and make a sample! The Oud in OFG is just a heart note and doesnt stay for the entire Life of the fragrance. Sorry Steven, but I hardly disagree on that point. Oud lovers could be upset by thinkink Oud will suit them forever in OFG… once the Oud fades away it is more of a slightly sweet fragrance with saffron and patchouli in the end.

Great review. I need this one on my collection. I have a sample and it has become an addiction to spray this. I also really like it for layering. It mixes very well with things like Oud Bouquet or even Pink Sugar.

Nice review ! I just recieved my bottle today. I made the mistake of buying this blind. I had an offer on a tester for 100 dollars, and i bought it on the spot. It’s very hard on the oud in the beginning, so you have to like oud to appreciate the opening of this. The middle is the best part , with a nice blend of woods almost smokey , and sweetness of saffron. After that, it is indeed very close to MFK Baccarat Rouge extrait- and that is not for me! I also own side effect og and rehab, and those i love!

Got this fragrance off of scentsplitter and it's like a very beautiful work of art. It's multifaceted like a brilliantly cut diamond. It's something that stands on it's own, but I could also picture it being layered with a nice aquatic scent.

I bought a bottle of Oud by Axis from the PURFUME SHOP UK, when I bought some other fragrances and i added the Oud fragrance it was for a secret Santa gift and only £9.99 perfect. In the mean time i had been given a Oud shower gel by mistake. The fragrance from the Oud shower gel was a instant hit for my wife and said for the price of the Axis Oud fragrance you might as well open it and give it a spray and see if it effects my skin and see if it’s any good as not. The fragrances work for me and have had problems as in the past some top brands did nothing for me. If ten people all wear the same fragrance in the office or a meeting all day I want to stand out and be confident. My wife loves the smell especially at night after a shower. The fragrance might not last for a long time but who needs to wear a £200.00 long lasting fragrance that over powers the bedroom all night. The Axis Oud was not too over powering and I will be buy another one when it runs out. Now I need a Oud fragrance that is a really special and a smell that will outlast everyone else and still feel confidant at work or for a night out. The new fragrance will have to give good staying power and not be too overpowering that it gives you a headache. Thank you so much with the advice and I am hooked on fragrances now

You really find there is « a lot » of oud in that juice like you said?… you pick it up in the initial spray but it really doesnt stay for a long time (well not as long as I would liked to) and definitely not in the base of the fragrance. Dry down : no more oud.

Hi Sir I have a very big concern and I’m hoping you can answer my question The problem i have is, first day i was in love with aventus smell also Prada l’homme smell, but suddenly, after few days, I couldn’t smell them anymore, like I could smell them but not the entire perfume I mainly smell like burned version of those perfume and i got them few days ago so they are not expired, i want to mention that i smelled so many perfumes in the last week maybe that’s the reason not sure. However i can still completely smell and enjoy D&G the one, Dior sauvage, but on the other side prada aventus suddenly started to not smell good to my nose this is so weird. Please help lol

It’s called nose blinded, the smell receptor get overwhelmed by the molecules in very strong complex scents, it’s a survival mechanism in animals that rely on smelling for food and detecting threats

Steven, great review! I think you are one of a few to mention the projection of Oud for Greatness. Most reviewers say it has excellent sillage and longevity, but say nothing about projection. Did I get it right? About 45 min of projection as you mentioned at 8:56? Regards from Brazil

is it normal for this Oud For Greatness to smell like bandaids? very medicinal and pungent, definitely not animalic or skanky though, zero barnyard. Laudano Nero, TF Tobacco Oud, and Oud 27 smell significantly better than this OFG.....

I watched reviews recently, where reviewers involve women to talk about sexiness of this particular fragrance. They even said, this was the best oud fragrance they would like to smell on a man. If you're just getting into ouds, I would say Tom Ford Oud Wood is a great one to start with. It doesn't have a skanky, barnyard oud smell. It's light and smooth, also garners some nice compliments.

I blind bought this and I'm not impressed. This scent is definitely unique and long lasting, but it dosen't blow me away. It's way too sweet for a man and its nothing special in my opinion. It has varying notes but essentially smells like caramelised sugar. I would not recommend this one to anyone for the price.

I had a sample of this fragrance. It's expensive but I think it's really worth it . It's so invigorating and powerful and rich
