Many workers may not have the benefit of employment policies that provide sick pay, or find they are refused pay when they are off work as a result of workplace injury or ill-health. I would like to focus on the specific phenomenon of companies refusing to pay their workers when they are off work as a direct result of an injury sustained in the workplace.
