The original game wasn't a bad game at all. The only real complaint was that the finishers were in this weird middle ground where they needed to be lethal but not TOO lethal.

MK v DCU got a lot of flak from Mortal Kombat fans because the fatalities were toned down. I don't think that's fair because fighting games are meant to have fun gameplay and MK's fatalities were just supposed to be a bonus. The game itself wasn't that fun though because it just didn't have much to offer.

It was entertaining but the finishes not being that great pointed out how the game lacked bonus content, such as puzzle kombat, kart kombat, and other amusing things to extend the gameplay.

This is Mortal Kombat X Raiden, am I right? Then this is a fight depicting two corrupted dudes. Raiden, who by the end of Mortal Kombat X, was corrupted by the Jinsei, and threatened to destroy everyone who threatens Earthrealm, and of course, Regime Superman, corrupted by the loss of Lois Lane from his universe and the subsequent murder of the Joker from his universe.

It would seem that way. But even though there are references to MKX (Like Sub-Zero mentioning how he fought Kotal Kahn so the others could go fight Shinnok) Raiden does not seem to have become Dark Raiden here.

@@bailujen8052 what is interesting is that they referenced Raiden and Scorpion being in Injustice TWICE, so I think the appearance of Raiden being in Injustice 2 is canon. Especially since Cetrion told Scorpion that “that wasn’t a dream.” So, maybe Raiden was sent to the Injustice 2 universe as part of Kronika’s attempt to wipe him from history. But then, why did was Scorpion sent to Injustice 1 in the storyline if that was not a mistake or a dream?

Dark Raiden would see Kal as a threat to Earth-Realm. Most likely try to kill him and the Regime, he took an army to the Neather-Realm. We also don’t see Smoke and Stryker in the story mode, so most likely he killed both of them during the events between MKX and MK11. Raiden would do anything to protect Earth-Realm which also meant that he would kill the Revenants that were Earth-Realm’s champions.

A lot of people think because Superman is so OP Raiden would not stand a chance. But people tend to forget one of Superman‘s greatest weaknesses is magic. There have been times in the comics Superman has nearly been killed by magic. And Raiden’s lightning attacks are fueled by magic.

Okay okay let's settle it, I've seen quite a few comments, but superman vs raiden, while superman has one weakness raiden is immortal unless it's an elder God, but his magic makes superman vulnerable. Superman however has great powers that could potentially cause some serious damage. And the way I see it raiden wins 6/10 times

If raiden was canon in the story he would first be on supermans side and try and help him escape red sun, but when superman and batman seperate, he realizes superman is the true enemy so he would fight him (and probably turn dark) and the last time we see him he says "if you invade this realm, i will bring my realm, we are always ready" and then he leaves with a portal
