I always found it funny that the demonic scarecrow is a hallucination while the reality is crane probably whacking them with his belt

I just realized. The reason Scarecrow’s taunts are so cutting and the reason that he seems to have dirt on everybody is because the matches and intros are all taking place in his opponent’s head. It’s not Scarecrow talking, it’s their own fears being brought out by the toxin. Genius.
