Pretty sure it's less about him being Red Skull levels of evil, and more about Shang Tsung biting his style (one of Shang's previous Fatalities was a reskinned version of Joker's Fatality from MK vs. DC).

I remember back in the day 10ish years ago now some people thought that The Joker and DC in general didn't fit in Mortal Kombat. But nowadays, we know that The Joker at least fits perfectly. MK is a place where even the heros won't hesitate to immolate, disebowel, behead or literally crush you. The Joker would be having the greatest time in his life over there.

@@AvalancheTV I’m not saying this to piss anyone off, but there’s several VAs for Batman just like The Joker has several other VAs. And honestly… abandoning Injustice over the death of one actor would send the entire fandom into a frenzy, I suggest Bruce Greenwood, Troy Baker or Jensen Ackles as our brand new Batman for Injustice 3. I mean if Cassie Cage can have a new voice actress and same goes for Scorpion and Sub-Zero, whose to say that Batman can’t?

⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠@@tonymata8070 I agree, Kevin will always be a legend but there are many Batman VAs that could take up the role and I’m sure he wouldn’t have wanted injustice to stop on his account, Batman’s voices were always revolving anyway (hell, Kevin isn’t the only Batman VA that has passed, rip Adam west) , as you said we got Troy, Bruce, Jenson, and others like Roger Craig smith. It sucks that he’s gone and his loss is definitely felt but Batman keeps moving forward.

I love how even the villain characters can’t stand the Joker (not Frost, not Noob Saibot, not Shao Kahn, not Shang Tsung, and especially not Kano). This incarnation of the character is by far the most dangerous, where others would wholeheartedly unite to take him down (he even pulls out a gun to shoot his opponent during a Friendship). I like the DC references in his intros.
