I felt called out there, when I used to play with my cousins I was really good back then, however at some point I suddenly decided to keep spamming the gun move, which of course pissed them off
I main DS myself and Deathstrokes players are getting surprisingly decent recently. I remember days when they were all about pure gun-spam-shit, but l noticed a massive increase in DS players skill. There are loads of awesome Deathstrokes on the PSN - I can tell you that!
Whenever I encounter a Deathstroke spammer, I'll go Deathstroke as well and show them how to actually kick ass properly as Slade Wilson. None of that gun spamming shit they do, I actually learn some really great combos. If I encounter a Doomsday spammer, I go Solomon Grundy. They're no match for my 82% combo, and if they DO try that spam where they use his jump+3, 3, jump+3, 3, over and over again, I have an air grab anyway. For most other spammers, I go Bane, use venom to X3, and just supercharge their ass. So many Deathstroke spammers that I get hate message spammed because of it.
Release check gets rid of Negative edging. using Blazblue as an example Negative edging is releasing a button in order to actually perform the move associated with that button. For example, Carl's doll won't move until you actually release the D button.
the thing with Injustice is, it's very simple. it's really only combo strings the characters already have. plus if you notice on the side it shows my inputs. It's very hard to do something like that for this game because the input buffer system is weird.
Honestly I just go into practice mode for about 2 hours with these characters and look through their moves list A LOT. to see what I can special cancel and what I can meter burn for extra hits and damage. I also see if I can use their special power mid or before combo.
For Arakune, his bugs won't come out until you release the button associated with them. For example, once your opponent is cursed, and you want to send out a D bug at him or her by using the D button, the D bug won't actually come out until you release the D button.
Great Video dude, I've been using deathstroke alot and ive been following up his jumps with a sword spin pistol combo but using the kick while jumping is smart, thanks-never thought of that dude lol
yeah I noticed that, I was going of what was posted before the game came out. Also Nightwing isn't voiced by Nolan either. Troy Baker does the Dick Grayson Nightwing and patrick Seitz does the Damian Wayne one.
the sword flip isn't a problem, it's his only reliable anti air. The spin and flip are his only good wakeup attacks, and every character has one, some character can do it every time and not get punished for it, but at least with deathstroke if you catch them doing it every time, you can bait the spin, and get a full combo punish. it doesn't need a nerf, you need to learn.
They might not be the MOST damaging but their the best syle so if ur ahead and u wanna finish em off with a sweet looking combo these r the ones to look at
It's an invincible wakeup attack, like supermans low scoop and crap. Nerf it and he has no good wakeups. So he's free everytime you knock him down. That's not fair when everyone has a good viable option for wakeup attacks.
go to your controller settings in the game, go and turn off Release check. Or whatever it's called, it's the one that you can turn on or off. That's probably what's causing the problem, since Negative edging caused a lot of input errors for me until I turned it off.
If you are into modding, getting a WWE Brawlstick and replacing the artwork and buttons is pretty good option too. Either way, get a fight stick. That's the way to go for competetive gaming in any fighting game.
just playin Injustice again on backwards compat, i always liked deathstroke but never tried to learn his good combo's wish i watched this earlier, to be fair his mix-ups and juggles are a little tougher than most i'd say. i still never just spammed guns at least
Actually. You can use pistol right after l if the combo is short enough, if you juggle them for too long then you can't press l or you'll whiff the pistols
Hey I have a doubt I am about to buy this game but do you think that all high kickass combos can be made on PS-3 sixaxis joystick I mean they Programmed Mortal Kombat 9 to play the best on the Mortal Kombat Arcade Shitbox Joystick are you sure I wont have to buy that Joystick and I would be able to make all the Combos on the PS-3 Controller Itself
Yea good point. His special does make his guns unblockable so yea your right. I often use guns to juggle or when it ties into a good high combo. But other than that I never gun spam. It just isn't fair. But Netherealm should patch some things like Sinestro. Nearly every Sinestro full screen spams projectiles.
One i found that does like a little over 30% is, jumping 1, 1,3,2, jumping 2, crouching 2, 3,2,3, and then you can finish it however you like from there i usually do, down foward 3 or you can do down back 3 or 2,3,1 or anything really hope this helps
I like how in the description, this guy says that Deathstroke was a rip-off of Deadpool. Tell that to him being the original Terminator (he was named that 3 years before the movie came out) and Deadpool actually being a rip-off of Deathstroke. (Please nobody mention the Taskmaster though. : P)
Troy Baker is cast as Sinestro and I have heard his Robin from Arkham City and it doesn't match Nightwing's voice in Injustice. I am 99% sure Nolan North is Nightwing, but I do agree with you about Patrick Seitz being Damian. Either way I enjoyed your combo video regardless.
Im with you bro! This guy kept on doing the sword flip, sweeping, doing the sword spin on me in the corner! Now when a deathstroke does something like that to you! Try getting out without getting caught by the sword flip. The sword flip needs to be punishable as a whiff and on block!

That's not true (about the combo strings). it does have to do a lot with combo strings but deathstroke has a more powerful combo that you never even did in this video. So you do H,M,H (the sword combo) but don't press L,Pistol (air). Press f.M,H,postol. that combo you have to link the f.M. Sorry if that was confusing at all.
you know when you do the kick flip move if you do a d2 after you can b3 it and you aren't wrong to call him deadpool because if it wasn't for deathstroke deadpool would never have been invented

Can someone help me out with Deathstroke,I got 2 huge problems with him: 1) The timing for the jump after the Back-Light, Up-Y combo 2) For some reason when ever I try to finish most Deathstroke combos with a Sword Super,the super changes to the Machine Gun instead. Why does that keep happening because that's really bugging the crap out of me(and yes I do put in the correct button sequences for the sword attacks).
I know, i am a Deathstroke player to. I know like 5 combos whith him but still people can't have it that i beat them whith Deathstroke. That's why i use my second character first Bane. And if they still want to fight, than i use my Deathstroke
They need to nerf him. Not his guns, but that sword flip. When he gets knocked down, he gets right ack up. Some other people do this but i cant remember
alrighty then, But then of course I could predict that the Deathstroke is gonna treat the game like Call of Duty, spam guns and camp, and then ill jump to get a free combo! Sounds like a plan starting with block escape :D
LOL that's what im talking about here i am busting deathstroke combos, green arrow combos and doing work meanwhile im getting spammed with COD deathsstroke super armor Doomsday, and Laser Light Show superman with metropolis's infinite car intractable. It's like no one bothered to learn the game.

Not using guns is just as bad as using them too much. Like it or not, guns are part of Deathstroke's main game. Use them to PUNISH other people out of their projectiles with their incredibly fast start up speed and travel speed, not to instigate a full screen gunfight.
I spam gun and do combos, punish accordingly and do set-ups... I see a lot of people crying from deathstroke spammers. He's not that of a big deal only if those people know that gun spamming have a terrible recovery. As a deathstroke player, I feel so dead when I miss with gun spamming.
