So excited to see Sonicfox win esposrts gamer of the year award. Made me want to come back and watch his early years in EVO. He was just a teenager and he killed it as soon as he hit the scene and has never stopped since. Congrats Sonicfox!
He's a Zod specialist. That guy was a Batgirl specialist. Just a tough thing to win from what I understand from watching it. Haven't played much Injustice.
Okay anyone in the FGC who actually plays fighting games, do not read this comment section. It's full of ignorance and absolute bullshit and it's best just to never lay your eyes upon it.
too be honest batgirl needs some type of modifications, Its the same Bs mix ups to the same combos, She does to much. Sonic fox earned the win but that play doesn't deserve the win.
Every character does the same thing damage wise, it's just a factor of animation and button combos that make them different. The fact that he won is just proof that he's more experienced with a certain character, as Pig is with Zod, but he was no match for Sonics combo fluency.
Can't forget batgirl does get the additional damage because of her character power but what just happen wasn't even about whose character was stronger or higher on the tier it was just the fact that sonic fox was just better plain and simple
Every character has virtually the same attacks in term of damage, the animation and button combo is different, but that's it. It's really just which character you want to master.
ByakkoSL there's a losers bracket and a winners bracket, the winner of the winners bracket goes to grand finals and the winner of the losers bracket goes to grand finals, the one in the losers bracket has to beat the winners bracket player in TWO SETS in order to win the tournament
ByakkoSL the sonic fox was in losers bracket so when he won the first set, basically he sent pig of the hut to the losers bracket aka a "bracket reset" and then it's a fresh new set and the winner of that wins the entire tournament
Because this is a tournament to see who is the best at the game, not the best at one champion. If you're competing to be the best you should be forced to learn multiple characters not just one. In my eyes that makes perfect sense.
Wesley Flippin I disagree. If you're preparing for a tournament you should play the character you're most comfortable with especially with money on the line.. These players are still good at the game if you understand the mechanics and how combos work even if you use just one character.
