This is a 'full length' tutorial consisting of loads of different individual classes - I'd love to hear what you think of this format! This was initially released on Spotify - but the company who released it failed to attribute the course to me, or provide me any metrics/payments/contract... so I'm releasing it for free here!
I’m coming on late. Sorry that this happened to you Toby. Your ability to move on from these things is so much a part of style and being and is what draws so many of us to you. Blessings my friend!
Thank you, Toby!! Your videos and lessons have really helped me to relax and enjoy the process, even when I don't like the end product! You have a great way of demonstrating/teaching that's fun to watch and easy to understand. Thanks for so generously providing free courses!
Hi Toby, This is another fantastic course that opens up “art” to people like me who don’t feel “arty”. I really enjoy listening to your explanations as to why you do things in a certain way and your emphasis on enjoyment. Well done
Thank you for posting this Toby! It’s terrible that you were scammed like that! I will be watching all of this and I’m sure it will be wonderful as is all your videos!
Love it! Thank you Toby. Lots of top tips and encouragement to develop my own preferred style. You are really helping me to relax into my art, one video at a time. Thanks again
Thanks Toby. You demonstrated your method in a clear, concise and comprehensive way, and showed how 'loose' is not slap-dash. I like the way that you emphasise the importance of knowing about certain artistic elements in order to create an effective picture but without rigid adherence to 'rules' if that suits. Your painting takes shape with calm, informative comments and gives, amongst things, a reassurance that although mistakes are probably inevitable they are a necessary part of the process which can still remain enjoyable. Great stuff!
This was wonderful! I have a photo with similar flowers in front of mountains that I took earlier this year, and have desperately wanted to paint the photo but didn't know where to start for fear of getting too caught up in tiny details. I know what to do now, fingers crossed 😂 thank you!!
So sorry to hear about what happened. Thanks for this wonderful video. It is really useful and as always a pleasure to watch. I hope you and Colin had a great weekend.
Thanks Toby. I’m so chuffed to have bought a piece of your work and love how open & passionate you are about sharing your gift of teaching in your style with us all. Thank you.
I had fun following this over a couple of days. At start of inking I dripped ink on left of piece & as you said I ignored it, although I see it it’s not as prominent as it was on the white paper! I‘d definitely change some parts but, I‘ve learnt new things so big thanks!
Toby, I received the Lighthouse painting you sent to me, today. Thank you ever so much. I will frame it and hang it on my wall. It's so beautiful to see all of the different ways we can use our art supplies. I am still learning to use my Inktense Pencils. It is so cool to see what can be done with them. I appreciate you and learn from you everyday. I may be 65 years old but I am not done yet! Lol. JoAnne Smith ❤😊🎉
Thanks Toby, I love your style and was saddened to hear what happened as this is a great course. Is every second page on then handout blank or is it just me?
