I prefer RU-vid over Facebook every time! It is much easier for me to locate what I want to watch. Keep on crafting!! I’m always amazed at how demonstrators can make a living at doing what you do. It is a lot of work and that you keep doing it shows a lot of love for what you present. 🥰

I always hated the phrase “you don’t have a real job”. Well, I make real money and I pay real bills. I have never understood why people would say that to someone. Yes to YT live...viewer can save your video into specific playlists and share on Pinterest. FB is limited and not one of my favorites. You are running a successful business...I work with small businesses and I tell them that it’s key for them to “know your customers and know your numbers.” In other words what do your customers want to buy and what is the best revenue stream to make the business profitable. You have to cover your costs in doing business. For those who are critical...get over it. Small business owners give us consumers a heck of lot in comparison to big businesses. They go the extra mile for us. Go for it, Wendy!

I have noticed that you haven’t been “around” as much lately, but I just intuitively knew that there are reasons....whether or otherwise. People who are negative about why you do what you do are ridiculous . They have no idea what goes on in the background. I love all you do. I do enjoy your lives the most though. You are so honest and down to earth. You are very busy and you need to do what works for you. If you do your lives on you tube that works for me. (FB works for me too). I, for one, enjoy watching you, whether it’s a “stellar video” or the times when you are more chatty. (In fact, I just watched this video twice 😊)

If anyone does not like it......they don't have to watch. I'm a casual stamper in 🇬🇧 and feel guilty that I get to watch your videos but not able to purchase from you. Your hard work in providing these videos and sharing your skills and talents, is very much appreciated by more people than you probably realise. Where I live in Australia, we do not have any papercrafting stores who do classes face to face. This is something I really miss. So our next best thing is to watch the videos. I am so grateful for these videos, but would dearly love to face to face classes. Thank you for sharing your crafting talent with us. It is really appreciated.

I really like to watch on RU-vid and Saturday works so well for me as I watch my granddaughters during the week and they will never let me watch anything without touching my screen or climbing on me. The card is very beautiful

Love the card and am so happy you showed the fix. Great one btw. I am a demonstrator but only have one customer. You already know who that one customer is, and for some reason it’s always the best customer,lol. That said. I have not done a video. I do mixed media also and scrapbook now and again but not too much. I do have a grandson album I have to make and an Africa and Europe trip album. I swore when I was a scrapbooked I was not going to get into stamping, but I did and that was 20 years ago. Stampin up has great stamps. Sometimes I wish a few less flowers, but we keep buying them🌹🌷🌻🌼🌸🥀💐honestly I don’t think most people have a clue how much time goes into classes, videos, stamp groups. Even if you case someone else’s card, there is so much work. If you don’t case someone’s card there is so much time put into planning and measuring and trying colors. I used to sell cards in two shops. It is a lot of work and you don’t get paid for your time. That’s the problem with crafts. Hopefully with a hobby like this for a business that it pays for your materials. The main thing for me is doing something you enjoy. What people have to realize is some people have no extra money for this and this is their only way to be able to do this. Lucky for those of you that get free knowledge from these demonstrators. Along with paid classes and kits comes a lot of free knowledge and classes like this one we just watched. Please give the video a thumbs up and leave a comment. Everyone wants to hear your comments

I too am an organizer and stress about doing more but I am learning to stop and look at situations and thinking does it need to be done or would it be more beneficial to let it go and do what really works for me. With my schedule I never seem to catch your lives. I enjoy U Tube, I can always share to facebook. I watch video's with my morning coffee. Your honesty shines through and gives me lots of inspiration to make cards. Lots of demonstrators do once a week. Nothing wrong with that, at least we get to see you, an you do inspire us. I totally understand some people want something for nothing. You do what is best for you and your family. I say when they start paying your bills, then, they can have a say what goes on in your life. I'm happy to hear you'll do at least one video a week. Love the cute pictures you show of Truvy.

Wendy, I also understand the stress of not doing a video, when I have so many card kits I am packing, putting together etc.. You do a fantastic job, and the haters can go elsewhere. I think as women, we also put an extra burdens on ourselves and feel like we are not doing enough, when we are doing great! Keep up the great work. See you online live!!

Just want you to know how much I appreciate you and the service you do on RU-vid! I am a hobby Demonstrator that would like to do videos but I am just technically challenged! I’ve done a few but truly just don’t grasp the whole editing thing LOL! All that to say, I totally understand the reasoning of what you’re doing :-) Keep doing what you’re doing, and do it in a way that makes you feel successful and continuing to enjoy what you’re doing! Those of us that want to continue watching you will and those that send those nasty comments don’t need to watch! You can’t please everybody all the time!! I applaud you for doing live videos! of course it's all about the money!!! it's a BUSINESS not a hobby. anyone with value will understand that and applaud you for it. none of us can afford to work for free! and i'm only speaking for me, but i am fine with a video that only shows one card. lisa curcio does that all the time!!! PLEASE don't worry about the people that complain - their opinions don't matter. you do this from your heart as a gift, and most of us love what you are able to give!!! i also love your story times - i'd be cool if you did a story time while you cut paper and packaged them up for your classes!!!

Videos like this are perfect. They don’t take so much time like a live does. I’d Much rather have four short videos with one card each and story time than an hour long video with four cards. Lives take a chunk of time to watch and some are going crazy long - 1.5 to 2 hours plus. They are fun in the live moment interacting, but replays are time consuming to watch. BTW I think doing your lives on RU-vid is better than FB.

I would love for you to do more Lives and RU-vid videos. I really love your “get real honest” videos that give business tips and hints for new demonstrators. I need to get a few customers to support my stamping habit, but can’t invest the time into FB or RU-vid videos or all the work that goes with weekly classes, camps, etc. I loved your video on not buying everything when you first become a demonstrator, unfortunately I found it too late lol.

Just a side-note on the card you made today. I'm thinking the 2 images you used were shrubs--not trees. I think that is what made the card look "off". But that's just me. Love you Wendy!! You are in my top 3 favorite card-makers online. And I watch a lot of card-making videos by a lot of different people. You always inspire me!!!

I don't see anything wrong with focusing more on classes and events if that's what your customers want. Isn't that what a good business does? Focuses on what customers want? And all companies shift business strategies from time to time based on what works and what doesn't. We all remember when Coca Cola rolled out the "New Coke" campaign many years ago with disastrous results. They used that as an opportunity to roll out "Classic Coke" which was nothing more than the original formula but people would know for sure it was their old favorite. You are running a business doing what you love but with the added goal of making money. If you followed a formula that did not work for you and did not make you any money, you would quickly go broke. Keep doing what feels right based on customer feedback. I mean if your customers wanted you to do nothing but videos, that's what you would do. But they have expressed that they prefer your classes and events. Listening to your customers is the key to any successful business. I applaud you and for always keeping it real.
