Great ink blending and card! I’ve been looking at inks and I think versa fine Clair are the ones to get. But Catherine Pooler inks are great too from what I hear. Thoughts?
Thanks, Jan!! I really like Versafine Clair inks, I think they are great especially for stamping crisp sentiments, honestly I have not had to re-ink them since I have owned them and thats several years with using them to ink blend, but only 24 colors. Catherine Pooler inks have the foam/sponge pad which I find need re-inking often, buuuutttt there are 98 color (from what I counted 😆) I should have collected those 🫢 The colors are beautiful and you can do multiple things with them like blend, water reactive and can emboss. Ink shopping is definitely dependent on what you will use them for. You can’t go wrong with either and since they have similar properties I would ask myself; felt pad or foam? Dye or Pigment? And how many colors do I want and can I store? I personally have full set syndrome so I would want them all 😬 space tells me other wise. Probably not the best answer, but it does matter how you will use them and how many colors you want. And honestly, you may want both because the Clairs stamp crisper images/sentiments and you don’t have to worry about over inking. With CP inks you can use those for techniques like ink blending, water reactive/watercolor. Hopefully this ridiculously long explanation helps you 😊 appreciate you. ❤️❤️❤️
