Irish drill is not a separate genre to UK drill, an accent isn’t enough to make it a separate genre. However I do get what he’s saying about it’s confusing when you hear Irish rappers with English accents. Drill for me is about rapping about your background and life in your area, so it definitely takes away the authenticity of it when they put on fake accents, even though it doesn’t hamper the quality of music.
