Good review! I picked my up from Amazon the other day for $49 with a discount coupon. Can't wait to use it on my smoked turkey and prime rib for the holidays. You judy cant beat the price point. Just subscribed! I do alot of cooking and I would love another one! 😊
Nice review. I’ve followed your channel for a while now and glad I have. I’ve been very interested in going to a wireless thermometer but haven’t yet , currently use the thermoworks smoke and want something as reliable. Keep the reviews coming!
I've been looking into a wireless thermometer to up my BBQ game. I may have to try this one out! Thanks for the quality videos, I have learned a lot from your channel.
Love your channel and have been subscribed for a while now. I think this thermometer would be great for me cause I love grilling and it is only me so one would be enough. The price of these have been a little out of my range being a widow. Anyways, thanks for giving great videos!!! BTW, when are they launching these??
@@skyliner967I don’t sorry. In that case, you can’t go wrong with either inkbird or twin TempSpike. It will really come down to personal preference and the app
Thanks very much for your review. This looks like a very interesting and useful bit of kit. So I’m guessing that because you were using Bluetooth this would work perfectly out in the middle of nowhere with zero mobile reception. I’m also guessing the storage box is like an antenna which needs to be close to the probe? Do you know if the box is waterproof? Thank you for your review, much appreciated 🙏
Can you use more then 1 of these at the same time for different cook temperatures ? I love my previous inkbird thermometers but they are wired and up to 4 different items which is perfect for family gatherings.
@@tomwadek I sure hope you had better luck than Idid with these probes they never worked 1 time for me correctly and It took me talking with customer service over a month to get a refund after sending many photos of the issues The probes would never stay connected to my iPhone they would disconnect before I could close the lid on the grill Customer service tried to tell me I had to many bluetooth devices connected to my phone. I am DONE WITH INKBIRD
Thanks for the review! How does this compare to your other wireless thermometers? I know Inkbird is a popular brand, but the app seems lacking. I would like to see more companies add wifi for better connection.
I was sent the same thermometer. works great just lacks the range. mine woulndt go through a wall. about 100 feet away from it. other then that it worked great
Great review! Wether I win or not, I am going to buy this one. Would be nice of course to send this one to Belgium 😀. Tip for your videos: when you are talking about temps and distance, maybe include 'meters' and 'celcsius' in your videos so we as Europeeans don't need to calculate 🙂
I just purchased the INKBIRD 2 weeks ago. I’ve only used it twice. Both times I have lost connection. Thermometer in the product on the grill. Case setting relatively close to the grill and me in the house. Distance from me to the grill, guessing no more than 30 ft. Any tips? Thank You!
What kind of grill is it? Gas, kettle, or smoker? For example, my gas grill is thick and a range killer. Also make sure you have the latest firmware update. They fixed some bugs recently.
Nice review! I havent saved up for enough money for a wireless thermometer but this looks like a good contender to Meater+, Combustion etc when I am going to purchase one :)
@@tomwadek Hey that is true! I dont know how to tag a friend but I'll try: @Bizzlock, this would be great for our family barbeques! No more tedious work with manually opening the lid and checking the temps every now and then :) It would make me relax more
@tomwadek that's a good sign because I could put my phone next to the case next to the probe of the MEATER+ and it will absolutely not reconnect. I barely use them now because of it and went back to my wired Inkbird that seems like it keeps the BT everywhere on my 1/4 acre lot.
I find the INKBIRD to be a great budget friendly and reliable system at a great price (especially discounted). I think the MEATER has more features and has been around longer. If you need multiple sensors and higher temps for direct searing then maybe the MEATER works for you, otherwise INKBIRD is a great system.
