As a long distance hiker, it would be nice to put maps+guides on something like this, since we often go a week without opportunity to recharge. 11s is a long for reading text -- can it do a partial refresh?
No, unfortunately we can't do partial refresh on the color one. If refresh rate is an issue you can check out the b/w ones. The update time is about 1-2 seconds.
E ink displays are great, but they lack a important feature. If the controller has some issue, the display still retains the image as if nothing is wrong. How to avoid that?
