Jennifer, thank you always ALWAYS for all the amazing tips in each video. You are my favorite demo artist and I benefit from each of your tutorials. Thanks so much!
I love the look of embossing paste with a glittery embossing powder. What a great technique! I am just starting to use Copic markers so I appreciate your tips on how to use them quickly!
Great tips in this video. I LOVE copics so I tend to get very complicated, and forget that I can use them SO many ways!! This video reminded me that I don't have to go for so much detail...I can just have fun and I love the frame idea. Thanks!
Jennifer this card is adorable. He is so cute even with his mustache. LOL. I love it. The background is fantastic and everything works beautifully together and it's really a happy little card with that cute mouse holding the balloon. Love it and all the tips and tricks you share with us. Thank you Jennifer. pat
There's so much great stuff in this video! Love the ombré effect on the mat that you did with your Copics, and the faux wrap around banner you made. The embossing powder on top of embossing paste makes me want to run to my craft room and play. Thanks for another great video.
I just love ALL of your videos! And you speak so well and teach the techniques so clearly. I will def be doing one like this in the near future! Thanks!
OMyGosh...You are amazing to watch!! Thank you for sharing with us the vast amount of knowledge you possess in such an easy, simple, and most importantly for me anyway, the professional manner in which you do so. I will continually look forward to your videos and again, thank you for sharing!!
Thank you for this video. I just got my first Copic markers and didn't know that not all inks work. I was using Ranger Archival ink and I was so bummed out when it started to bleed. Unfortunately, we don't have any type of craft stores where I live but that's okay because Amazon has pretty much everything so I've already ordered some of the MFT Hybrid ink but again thank you for this video and I just LOVE the cards you make, very inspiring.
I really love mixing gray with pastels - it always looks so elegant! You did a gorgeous job with this card, and I appreciate all the helpful info. Happy belated Mother's Day, too :-)
Love this process video. Thanks so much for sharing all your little tips and tricks. This is going right into my favorites playlist! tfs hugs, Kristina
Your card is so cute love how you did your cute little mouse kinda mad me think of the mouse in the house story and yiiiiikes he came to the party but brought a balloon too cute!! Great creative and clever ideas and so enjoyed watching you create always a please and a joy!! YOU ROCK!! Joan Smith
Jenn...this whole video is GENIUS!!! Ok soooo I took all these copic cert classes & still for the life of me, I suck at it...Copics can be very intimidating or so I thought....then I watched this video & it totally took all the pressure off! Call me crazy but I like the quick break the rules kind of coloring. Me-mommy-of-3-with-a-job...Copic rules....ain't nobody got time for that! LOL AND the banner....BRILLIANT!! I could go on and on about all the wonderful gems in this vid but i'll spare you! LOL Now lemme RP this badboy on IG....watch for it! LOL xoxoxo
Thanks so much for the suggestion of the MFT ink. I've noticed too that the Memento ink doesn't give the best impression always. One question, though: does the MFT ink also work with Prismacolor pencils & Gamsol? So far, I've been using Versafine with those because it doesn't smear.
Ok, the trick about outlining in black the cut-out pieces? It bacfired on me a couple of time when I used my alcool ink marker to do it, bleeding unto the colored image. So now, I'm using a water-based marker to do it or a color pencil.
Can you use any card stock with copic markers? Also, I see that copics come in sets. Is there a specific color set you would suggest for someone new to these markers?
Hi Jen. I've been messing up everything I try lately and I try a lot of things I learn from you. Tonight I tried rubber stamping images onto Bristol paper using Versamark ink and white embossing powder so I could use my copics or other alcohol markers to color in the floral images nicely. When I went to heat emboss the images, they would not emboss, and the powder just sat there. Was I using the wrong paper, or was something wrong with my powder? What do you think? I really stamped a whole lot of nice images and got them on there perfectly and was very disappointed. Kandi
Are you using bristol smooth or vellum? I know with my bristol smooth my heat embossing is just fine. Not sure about bristol vellum personally. I've heard embossing powders can go bad, but I'd ask what you mean like it just sat there? If the ink is sticking the powder that just leaves the powder or more likely your embossing heat gun as the cause. Hope this helps
I don't see the names of the people u mentioned in the video and I'm using a mobile phone and I noticed u responded to another post about my same comment and u said the names where in the corner when u mentioned them but for people who use mobile it didn't show a link and we can't click on anything in a video it doesn't work just letting u know!
