I loved this it was beautiful! I don’t know how you come up with such great ideas. When I watched you start to ink the bicycle-broom I thought “I bet she could literally draw anything she wanted”, I would love to be able to do that! I also loved the merging of the two sketches, the black and white stars, and as mentioned the bicycle-broom. The colour swatches look a bit like the paper has been peeled away to reveal a coloured brick wall. I could watch you draw and paint all day! Thank you!
This turned out lovely, I'm so glad you decided to go ahead with watercolor over the ink work. I look forward to the next videos, timelapse speedpaints are great. I am impressed with your dedication to doing such in-depth pieces this Inktober :)
I wanted to give inking a real good go this year. My last inktobers were fun but I never felt like I have taken them seriously and it never stuck with me. I also feel like I have gotten away from linework a bit over the time and I wanted to rekindle my love for it :)
Thanks for sticking around! :D I don't think Inktober would have been as much fun without sharing my whole experience and reading and watching how other people are doing.
😂 I wanted to draw a motorcycle or vespa at first but everything mechanical intimidates me too so I chickened out and went for the broom. It's just a stick with the steering wheel and saddle attached to it.
I don't really have the words to describe how good that is. The colours, I could just eat them. Keats had the words though, 'mist and mellow fruitfulness'.
Just beautiful ..the under inking does help a lot doesn’t it..she’s beautiful and I love all the details..the other ink and pen drawing is also beautiful and fun too..you feel a bit more uplifted today 😀
Yeah.
I've been following your inktober work with amazement. The way you're able to draw/paint fabrics for instance is magic, and your pieces have been such real works of art. But this watercolour one.... It's astonishingly beautiful! Will there be prints available from this? Thanks for sharing it with us here!
This reminds me of the character design of Gris (video game), but it might just be that hairstyle, haha. Anyways it's beautiful and I love how both loosely and at the same time planned you use watercolour ♥
