The more I watch these reviews on this product... The more I think these would actually be really cool for work. Especially if they can take and display notes. I'd need "Safety" glasses anyway.... Our machine shop is pretty loose on the term safety so this would work... Unfortunately... Not for 600 bucks. Great video btw
Thanks for checking out the vid! The Reminder app. will let you enter stuff by voice, but I don't think there is a general note-taking app. I'll send them your suggestion, it's a good one! But yes, $600 is a bit steep. There's a $50 off coupon on Amazon (checkbox) currently, but even so that's still a bit much.
Is it possible to read text messages on the display screen of the glasses, and is it possible to download chat applications such as WhatsApp and Telegram on the glasses?
With these glasses, I only found the applications shown in this video available for download. Unless INMO has made any new updates since this video, what was shown are all the applications that can be installed directly on the glasses. There is no google play store to download other applications, only their own store with a limited set of applications. Hope this answered your questions.
I dont alot of tech but can you surf the internet and watch videos withe the inmo air 1 if so do i have to be connected to laptop or phone?Do you know what the difference is between the air 1 vs the air 2?Thankyou!
There is no browser built-in to the glasses, so browsing the internet seems to be a no (you can't download one, afaik). INMO mentioned they'll be sending an AIR 2 for review, not sure what's changed between the two models -yet.
Thanks for checking it out buddy! Yeah, they need a more realistic price if they want them to sell. I did let them know my opinions while working on this video, hopefully the feedback was constructive/helpful to them. Pretty much everything that was in the video summarized in an e-mail.
Cool concept, not that practical at that price point for me. Plus I’m sure those things would get me in trouble.. watching something on those glasses while people try to talk to me, tuning them out, and agreeing to something I didn’t understand… haha
Wow. I don't know why it fascinates me but that cursor pointer controlled via head movement is sick! Then maybe selecting stuff can be a single one finger tap on a temple, then secondary click is two fingers. These glasses have so much potential! Great video sir! 👏🤍 Edit: I also think that if ever Apple releases a smart glasses in the future, they'll probably go for a product similar to these ones. This design is way better than XREAL Air's birdbath optics. Way slimmer. Especially the INMO Air 2's!
Thank you for your comment! These glasses have HUGE potential, where it's lacking is software. For example, if INMO could allow the Google Play Store directly on the glasses, this could easily become the hottest pair of smart glasses available. However, there are currently only a handful of applications that can be installed. There is so much potential here, but they must work on the software support to be a big success.
Are those going to be as good as the Tilt5 AR Glasses created by Jeri Ellsworth and associated items to let you play computer adventure games with a computer screen in sign
If Amazon is an option for you, I'd recommend that for easier returns should any problems arise. I've not purchased directly from their website, as mentioned in this video they sent the INMO Air for review. They are releasing their INMO Air 2 product now, from what I understand they are sending one of those for review also.
They are releasing their INMO Air 2 product now, from what I understand they are sending one to me for review. The INMO Air (mode shown here) has some limitations, if you don't see something in this video that does what you want don't expect that it will. That is, no I don't think you can do what you've asked.
How are these so much less bulky then something like the xreal air glasses yet i havent found these until now? All they would need is a little bit of a software update and they'd alr be ten times better then all of the popular ar glasses
They will see a small light in a dark area, but the image would be reversed and they would have to be in your face to get an idea of what you're seeing.
Does these AR glasses have apps for dual or triple screens at the same time for long period of time. For example: Screen 1: to do list Screen 2: Microsoft document Screen 3: excel document
@Wagner's TechTalk hopefully they were defected, but I couldn't mirror from 2 different phones, battery nose dived fast, but they were amazing covert pic takers, then I felt creepy so they had no function. Also they only translated Japanese and Chinese
Thank you, yeah it does feel a bit creepy taking pictures from it. Before using the pictures of my son in this video, I made sure he saw/approved of them first. I also provided feedback to INMO regarding the translation, Spanish + French would have been great to have on them. Thanks for letting me know why you returned them, I appreciate your feedback!
@Wagner's TechTalk badly wanted to like them but I had the nreal air and the fb raybands before so I know the quality I expected. If it did all languages and allowed other apps on I would of kept then as I could of just used a battery pack on them. My virture pne ar glass with neckband should be here in March.
Same here, really enjoy the nreal glasses. I have a guide here on them with a focus on using them with the Steam Deck: wagnerstechtalk.com/nrealair . I know SBS (3d) is in beta, so I'll be revisiting them hopefully soon with that feature.
Not with these glasses. Also, in this case only one lens has a display. You might want to consider this for connecting to other devices: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-klIiQgMcds4.html
@@WagnersTechTalk thanks for the recommendation, well I could feasibly afford these, I still find that the inmo air AR smart glasses have the best price point for entry into the ar glasses market I foresee these would be excellent for some of the more menial purposes that I would have for them, such as needing something to distract myself while I am doing the dishes or cooking, or providing myself information when I am doing something delicate and technical. All in all I highly compliment your review and I am still uncertain of which glasses I will be picking, as I have spotted the Rokids which while looking like goofy Syfy glasses, they seem to be best fitted for those who want to be intertwined with their electronics well on the go. I believe work productivity as well as gaming fun could be radically improved using those, but I don't think they are friendly for being mobile while working with them. I think inmo air has a little bit better spatial management.
@@shinobimanexe It's tough, I know. There are many choices on the market right now. I've only tested 3 different AR models, all have been good for different reasons. Still looking for that near-perfect pair. Thank you for your kind words!
@@purpleways7570 although i dont have the glasses pdf files dont take much battery so i would assume you would be good for a exceptional amount of files
can you translate japanese text to english text by looking at it? I was hoping to wear these or a similar device to play japanese video games, & have it translate the text as I play just by looking at it 🤔
Not by looking at it, this app. only listened for audio and would translate that to English. With no Play store on-board, there is no way to download another application that does support the camera for reading text. For the use-case you mention, I don't think these glasses will work out.
I don't personally use an iPhone (my last one was an iPhone 4), but looks like this article explains how you can add apps. outside of the Apple Store: appletoolbox.com/how-to-sideload-apps-on-iphone-using-altstore .
6:18 so i can put the discord apk on it and play discord activities and chat without a phone? (or a browser) very interesting to see a standalone ar glass which looks more or less like normal glasses. does it run small discord activitie games, like chess in the park? or youtube watch together? and chat without a phone. And are the glasses easy switchable, so i can go to my eyedoctor and bring this extra glasses to him and use my own mytopia dioptrie glasses to use this as normal glasses? how long is the batterylife?
You can't add your own .apk's. There are only a handful of applications available and all of them shown in the video. There is no browser, which I'd love to see added in their next-gen version (coming soon, from what I hear). Battery is about 3-4 hours of use, 1-2 days standby. Link to the manual in the video description also.
@@WagnersTechTalk can i mirror my phone and use this way discord and control it with the glasses? was seeing a ring as controller, seems good for writing textes, also chat and play small games
You can mirror your phone, using a 3rd party app. but it wasn't a great experience (needs better integration to the phone). INMO have said they are sending their next-gen glasses a few weeks ago, not sure if that's still going to happen but as far as I know, it's still a go. May want to hold off at this point for that model. It should open up more possibilities. Without a file manager on the glasses, you can't install your own .apk's which was a bummer.
@@WagnersTechTalk no great experience but its good enough for chat and play turn based lil games like chess? just want lye down and use discord with it without a heavy device on head or cables, no fun of this ar glasses with cables, so i like the wireless idea way more
Pure garbage with a display of 640x 480 must be some old assss teck, I would pass on this.but maybe for people that dont know about nothing it would be good for them..
I own these glasses and debating on returning them because no matter how I adjust the nose pieces I can't get a good clear view with wearing the glasses regularly. They need to be halfway on Mt nose almost resting on the tip of my nose to get a good clear view. Which makes wearing them uncomfortable
