Really curious to compare with sport mode. I did a ride yesterday on my v14 50S and got 62km out of it for 100% battery used (I had a charge break so I added the battery used). The ride was a mix of off-road and road but I did not push the speed much, maybe around 40kmh max and not super often. I was in sport mode with acceleration and breaking assist at 75%. I’m around 100kg with gear and outside temperature was around 12C
Great video. Thanks for sharing your observations. You charged it at 14A from what I saw on CE140. Have you noticed a significant voltage drop that way? Even with 50S cells, when enduring long trips I prefer to charge at low amps. To achieve a more complete charge. Or fast charging but adding a short secondary charge at low amps to complete. I am glad you show what we "light hair guys" can do. 😉 Have you read the manual? it states the EUC is only up to 50's. 😅 Mine is also black and is on its way. 😉
yes you can. The top side panels are available in orange as well as in black. It is just a matter of your local dealer to get them. Otherwise on the official Global Inmotion store we may find then in a near future. 😉 But orange is that bad? I am getting mine in black version but I do like the orange plastics. 🤣 It reminds me my offroad motorcycle.
yes it seems that was the case but Inmotion has been making changed on the firmware. So it is important we to provide the version when producing videos and sharing observations. They may not be always representative. I hope there is a significant difference between "Drive" and "Sport" modes.
what's your average speed during a test like this? any idea why these things are so inefficient? high power pedal ebikes typically get 10 watthours per kilometre. at 30 kilometres an hour that would mean 600 watts more for this than the bike. i'd expect a little bit more because it has to balance itself and the controller is much more elaborate, but not 600 watts more
Good point so this is a trail wheel is 40kg in weight and the average speed was 30kmh I weigh 110kgs this motor is geared towards torque. This only takes 1 hr to fully charge hope this helps.
I've listened to it several times but neither one makes sense, you have a 2400wh battery used 15percent and either done 8 or 80km? I'm confused!!?? My Inmotion v12 1750 gets around 10km or less for 15 percent battery usage. Is it because your going faster?
When he spoke to the fellow, 15% left and ridden 80 km is what closed caption says. 85% usage for his 80km. Great to see positive interactions with inquisitive people on your ride 🤙
great, that's is exactly what I want; a significantly different behavior between the two modes. Otherwise why to have them? Please share the firmware and EUC version. Otherwise it may not be relevant. Inmotion has been modifying the firmware actively and it does not seem to be the same between the orange and black version either, due to the type of battery cells.
