Inn goes the Pinn with a mishap on the abseil 

I did the Inn Pinn for the first time yesterday with a friend. I'd watched your video beforehand, and when she asked me to double-check her abseil setup at the top, I said "make sure your harness is buckled up tight!" We both enjoyed it immensely, but we both found the crux more difficult than expected. Conditions were damp and misty with strong winds. My friend led the first pitch and when it was my turn I had to trust my foot to a tiny polished edge, luckily with good handholds. I did the next pitch, which was so much easier but when I tried to place my first nut, the left side of the crack wobbled and it looked as if that entire piece of rock was about to flake off. I would not want to solo it!

That’s a double back buckle…. Very important you remember to double those back! They’re bomber, a bit old school now.

You are a cool customer! I did my first roped scrambel up a gully on Tryafn, my heart was pounding ! I don't think I could do the inpin even with ropes 😢
