Thank you. I've been researching lots of RU-vid channels and the ones that I respect are all saying the same thing you are saying. To fix the knees you must strengthen the glutes. And this needs to be ongoing for the rest of my life. Your demonstrations and explanations are definitely some of the clearest on the internet.
Thank you very much, these exercises are very very effective. On the very first day of this exercise I have done it's quite effective. I had been very pain on the inner side of the knee while walking, sitting on the floor n standing for a while. This was all begun after I sprained my ankle several times while walking.
Found your videos for knee pain relief, and I'm really hoping that they work for me. I started doing wall Pilates a few weeks ago thinking that it was low impact, but my inner knee starting hurting bad on a walk. It seems like it's getting better after icing, doing stretches, and pretty much being very gentle with it, but my brain is going nuts, because my workouts are my therapy. After three knee surgeries about twenty years ago, I'm really hoping I didn't do much damage. Thank you for all your videos!
They said I have torn my Ligaments in my left leg im 75 and do exactly what they say but it’s not getting better I feel like giving up and just use a walker
I fell down walking down a steep volcano w my left leg forward and the right one bended sideways…I hear crack but the I stood up and continued descending the big volcano… whe I finally stopped and my body cooled down the pain started and was painful but still walking for like a week. Now it’s been a month and still feel pain when I walk too much or early in the morning . Pain is On the inside of my right knee… how long is it supposed to hurt? Docs said it’s maybe a teared ligament and there’s nothing they can do except taking it easy 🤷♀️
And…it works! Did as suggested just before my walk and pain was substantially diminished, maybe 10% of usual. I will keep this up since initial results were so spectacular.
Thank you for sharing this is gonna be a big help to ease the long time pain in my left knee hopefully. But I need to find my elastic band first. I found your tutorial easy to follow you're the best. More power to your channel.
Hello Dr I have a few questions about the rehab on knee injury of soccer player. He was hurt during the game on the inner side of his knee and he doesn't have any pain but he can't kick a ball with his injured leg and can't fully flex his knee.
I'm 63 in a few weeks. Been playing golf for 25 years. My inner knees are quite sore. Is this hips or golf related. I will try this exercise. Any more tips. And are you on Instagram? Thanks, Graham
I’ve done clamshells for years but never with thighs at 90 degrees which feels like a better workout for those glutes. After the exercise, should we stretch out the glutes to help them relax a bit? Thank you.
I am 75-years old male, overweight but not obese. I injured my left inner knee while sprinting almost a year ago. I was doing 30 seconds of full out wind sprints with a one minute pause (interval training). I felt something give in the 4th wind sprint. I inched it wore a brace and the pain subsided. I took yoga classes for the past 6-7 months. I noticed that my injured knee was not as flexible as might right knee. I would get a slight pain on the inside of my knee if I tried to for example sit on my heels with my knees flexed. I couldn’t sit on my heels as my knee would not bend far enough. I had been having some numbness in the toes of both feet before the class. This had totally stopped and I attributed this to the stretching and bending of my toes. I was quite pleased. There is not yoga class this summer. I decided to buy a pair of what are termed bare-foot shoes and try to walk regularly. I thought this would shift more weight onto the balls of my feet ant my toes and thereby keep my toes from becoming numb again. The shoes were bought from a store that sells shoes exclusively to runners and walkers (not cheap). I walked maybe a mile yesterday for the first time htrying to spread my ties and feel the pavement as I walked. I noticed a slight pain on the inside of my left knee as I walked. I thought perhaps that I was strengthening the injured area. Today I went for a walk again. I hadn’t walked too far when I descended a down slope sidewalk. I hadn’t gone many steps before the pain increased and I decided to turn around, head home and end the walk. I am unsure what is going on. I iced the knee. I did the hip stretch in your video. It helped reduce the pain in my knee a little. I will try to do this regularly in case my hips are the source of the problem.
Thank you that was very helpful! I just have a question about when you said that you might need to do different bands as you continue to do this? Are you saying looser, or tighter bands?
Hello, I have been watching a lot of your herniated disc videos and other videos as well. This is unrelated to the video above, but I just wanted to ask this question. I am 26 years old, and I have a herniated disc. I just wanted to ask if I can start traveling again after my herniated lumbar disc heals. Can I travel on rough roads? And can I go on long trips (4-6 hours)?

Very useful exercises.I am 68years suffering from knee pain.i have been tried many types of exercises, not so good r.but these are very effective. Now I am practicing these exercises it's useful.
Thankyou excellent demonstration of every little detail. I have been doing your previous glute strengthening vd, takes patience dedication, definitely feel it. Seeing my pysio today for meniscus tear so will be interesting to see their exercises. I received your book yesterday, looking forward to reading and learning. Also, thk for mentioning 2-3 months of doing clams, else I would think a quick fix. Is it correct that at 55 doing maintenance ie clams, bridges etc will be a necessary part of life like brushing my teeth? Never had to do in my early decades, no one tells you about how to age actively.
Thanks for this. I do clamshells, but have not focused on doing it from the hips. Think I have been pushing primarily from the knees. Hope this tweak makes a noticeable difference in my results!
Does this work with a knee that has ACL reconstruction surgery? I have had three surgeries. Two of them were to clear scar tissue that was blocking my knee from fully straightening. I still have difficulty straightening it past 180 degrees and sometimes it still hurts. It gets this feeling of the knee being brittle(the only way I can explain it). I lift weights and it feels to be a restriction on leg day. It's been a year plus since my last surgery and I just want to be pain-free. Do you have some recommendations?? Anything would help.
Hi Will…your personal modeling of a patient’s body angle for the exercises most effective results helps us understand the importance of the prone position and the placement of the band on both legs…have used it 3 times today and already know that this straightforward protocol is going to happily put me back into my ballroom dancing classes…Voila…❤️
