Ali ibn Al Hussain or Imam Zain ul Aabidin (A.S) was eldest son of Imam Hussain ibn Ali (A.S). He was the only male survived in battle of Karbala. He got the title of Zainul Abidin because of his devotion to worship. After the tragedy of Karbala, he devoted the rest of his life to prayer and worship. It is said that Imam Zain al-Abidin (A.S) was martyred by poisoning in 94 or 95 Hijri.
