I get what you’re saying but being “tough on crime” doesn't change jack. We need to get at the root of the problem, why people are choosing to make extremely dangerous decisions and let them know they have other avenues. Having prison be about “punishment” instead of rehabilitation is stupid because when that person gets out there is an extremely high chance they just go and commit the same crime again…

Rebecca Grossman was sentenced to 15 years to life which she killed 2 kids in a hit and run in California which hopefully she does more than 15 years. You can’t arrest anyone for crimes that haven’t been committed yet. Even when California had the 3 strike law which once you get that 3rd strike they’re going to put you away for along time people still committed crimes. What the hell do you want them to do? You can’t control every crazy person actions.

There are so many religions and we all beleive be in ours. Have you ever thought what if we’re all wrong? I mean I beleive Jesus died in the cross for our sins but so many other fine people believe something so different. Is religion part of the problem??
