I have been using the Innorel RT90c in a variety of conditions ranging from deep snow to rocky riverbanks. I have previously owned Gitzo tripods and I have been impressed with the quality and durability of this Innorel tripod, especially considering the price is 1/3 to 1/4 of a similar Gitzo or Really Right Stuff (RRS) tripod.

Artcise is actually any new designs according to the company who are running both brands side by side. Gonna pull the trigger, great value tripods.

Great review here.. I've been using this tripod for bird photography for more than 2 years and I absolutely love it.. I even bought another one from innorel (a different model) for my landscape work. Also, I'm so glad to find someone who prefers to have the knobs of the gimbal head on the left side like I do!!

I saw the first review, and decided to buy it. I’m glad with it, not even the longer turns bother me.

Great video with excellent tips, especially regarding securements and using some additional adjustments of second leg segments to achieve some baseline leveling on uneven ground. Thank you very much! All the best.

Based on your previous review of the Artcise, I bought one last week. I've been using Manfrotto 055 for years now, but now that I've got a gimbal head and a serious long lens, I was noticing that there was some slight movement, especially when I need to extend the center column (I'm 5' 9"). So I was looking for a base sans the center column. Wow, the Artcise is so much more stable and sturdy!!! Thx so much for giving me the reasons to get this one. I'll be taking it next January to shoot Snowy Owls in the freezing cold.

Excellent, center columns are nice but make a tripod into a three legged monopod

Thanks for your follow up, I'd only watched your last review yesterday and was about to pull the trigger. Lovely backdrop, can't wait till Australia where I live is not locked down so I can explore places like that again :)

I have an Artcise version and it is great. With a Manfrotto 393 heavy gimbal, it can handle my 300-800mm "Sigzilla" (13lbs).

You can swap the gag of the bowl for the hook of the mounting pan, then you get closer to the ground.

@@MooseHenderson1 To change the heads, I use an Arca Swiss clamp and a quick release plate under the gimbal, ball head, 3-way pan head, video pan head or whatever.

Dear friends, Thanks to the blogger for the video made for innorel. This is the innorel factory. Compared with other brands of tripods, our product quality is not inferior to them, but the price is the most affordable. Our Amazon store is www.amazon.com/innorel Our Aliexpress store is: www.aliexpress.com/store/2674107 es.aliexpress.com/store/5071410

Thank You for the detailed review! I was looking at a Leofoto & someone told me about this tripod. Its cheaper & comes with the bowl adapter. My friends tell me stay with good stuff or Ill be sorry but this looks good & if you used a year with no issues thats a good sign.

Did you see some of the bad reviews on amazon? The one where the leg came off from the glue failing? That scares me a little..... Mine will be here Friday! I enjoy your videos. I just subscribed & will watch more after I am done editing todays wildlife pics...lol!

Hello Moose.....thank you for the video. Good Job. I purchased this INNOREL RT-90C before I came across this review or any others of your reviews, it's light and sturdy just like you said. Best tripod beyond my expectation in quality and price. I just need to get some info as to how to remove the bottom part that have the hook and change to the deeper bowl. I know about the part that releases the flat piece.
@VellaCharles
@VellaCharles 3 года назад
@@MooseHenderson1 Hi Moose, Yes I did by loosing the knob up and pressing the bottom latch to release it from its position. There's also an extra bowl that comes with this tripod, but no instructions how this fits in. I also purchase the short carbon centre column which probably come in handy for a higher elevation or inverted . Thank you for your reply.

Ok. So is the Artcise AS90C one the newer, upgraded version? Or the innorel rt90c?

Good review. I have a tripod that uses toggle levers to lock the legs. Sometimes they don't hold very well. You are 3 inches taller than Robert Reich ;-)
@MrPhilbautista
@MrPhilbautista 2 года назад
Why do you bother with the leveling base? Why not just stick with the fixed base when you're using your Wimberley? It'll allow you to get even lower to the ground and leveling your photos shouldn't be a concern with your setup since leveling is easy with the lens tripod mount loose as it is.
@MooseHenderson1
@MooseHenderson1 2 года назад
The wimberley will only move in one axis, it is important for the base to be level
@MrPhilbautista
@MrPhilbautista 2 года назад
@@MooseHenderson1 But the lens mounted on the Wimberley has a tripod ring/collar so you could level the shot there. The only reason for needing a leveling base was if you were shooting panoramas, and I don't think you're shooting panoramas with a Wimberley. Wrong head for that. I mean, you can, but, when you're using a Wimberley, it's usually best for fast moving subjects like wildlife and sports. But lots of birders shoot low to the ground to lessen their profile to avoid spooking birds, so that's why I think replacing the leveling base is more practical. But that's just a suggestion. I respect your expertise and am just looking to help you out. Thanks for all you do.

Great review! I have been eyeing this model for a while now and I have a quick question: how good are the seals around the twist locks? I am asking because I do quite a bit of seascape photography and sand poses a huge headache (cleaning took forever)...not sure if that is something you have encountered?

Will the legs lock in place closer together when fully extended or is there only one position?
@MooseHenderson1
@MooseHenderson1 Год назад
There are three locking positions, if I remember correctly. The widest is almost enough to make it flat to ground

I have a question: I presently use an Oben CC-2491, and a Wimberley gimbal head, and Sony 600 f/4. When looking through the viewfinder, this set-up seems to be a little shaky, but I’m not sure if it’s the tripod, or the gimbal head. I’d hate to spend the money on another tripod only to find that it was the gimbal head that was mostly (or completely) to blame for the instability. Your thoughts?
@Trigger-xw9gq
@Trigger-xw9gq 3 года назад
@@MooseHenderson1 Good points, but I only have the lower (skinniest) legs extended about 3". Similarly, my center column is slammed all the way down, unless needed, so it's pretty solid. I just tried the camera & lens on without the gimbal, and while it is better, there still is shake, but it's difficult to determine whether it's the tripod, or just the inherent leverage with a large lens. Again, what I want to avoid is that buyer's remorse if this Innorel unit would be no different.

I have this model. Purchased it from Amazon 347 bucks. GREAT tripod. Only one problem. HUGE problem. NO support. On ANYTHING. Made by "Artcise". Can't contact them. Sold by "Innorel" and others. Can't contact them. Loose a part or a part quits working, you are out 347 bucks. Buyer beware and Good luck.
