You nailed the rosy cheeks! The animators had trouble getting the blush on Snow White's cheeks right, and a lady popped her rouge out of her purse and put it on the paper and it looked great. Disney was skeptical and asked if she could do it in the same place for every frame, and she said she'd been putting it on her face the same for decades and she was sure!
I thought the story was that they put red pigment on the page, realized it was too much and blotted it off, and that was what gave her the pink cheeks? Not discrediting that it was female color artists who innovated it--they were the unsung heroes of the animation studios back in the day--but I'd never heard that it was like a face rouge before.
Holy crap - this one is epic!! Please do a side-by-side with and without the effects. It goes by so fast that it's hard to appreciate all of your creativity. You are so freaking talented!
i dont wear fake nails, but getting a set of the nails you make is one of the things i'd like to do someday. and then i'd have it as my family heirloom
The other artist is talented but your work outshines the rest hands down. Each individual nail stands on its own as a work of art but put them together it's a masterpiece!

I love the old Disney. That is my generation though so it's what I grew up watching. I remember going to the movies to see Bambi and crying when mom got shot! I really wish we still had these sweet fantasy based things for children today and not so political. Beautiful nails you are a real artist.

You can tell the difference in artistic details, the other artist is very good, but your phenomenal. Not a huge fan of the one nail thats just an arm/hand holding a bird, but directly next to Snow White it's cool. Your nails on the other hand, each nail is an entire art piece, but the whole set put together is beyond words!

I'm so jealous that you can fit so much detail onto such a tiny canvas. Nail art is my passion but I take medication that causes severe tremors in my hands. I also have a tic disorder so I randomly get muscle spasms which doesn't help either. A basic set can take me 8-12 hours. I could NEVER do something like this. You're incredibly talented and I love these videos. Keep making more!
