Innovative Space Saving Creation Ideas 

I bought a house in 1989 that had been built in 1985 and had a downdraft Jenn-Air cooktop. An added feature was one side had convertible inserts that could either be 2 burners, a one piece griddle or a grill while the other side is 2 fixed burners. It still works perfectly and has never needed repairs. The center stainless steel grate lifts off and the filter is easily removed to clean. I preferred gas but I would have had about 10ft of line installed from the nearest line in my house. I had already adjusted to electric and was so happy with the versatility that I never pursued converting it to gas. Jenn-Air also had single sided burner covers that came in either oak or black steel and I went with oak because it matched my cabinets but also could be flipped and used as servers to carry items to other rooms or to the deck. I don’t mind that they aren’t sleek and modern anymore but very functional and versatile.

Imagine returning home drunk late at night and just thinking of laying down on your bed and as soon as you reach your room and lie down, you hit the floor and remember that the bed is on the ceiling.

Great, all fantastic space saving inventions mostly unreachable for who usualy have to live in small houses.

Very interesting but most of these are just too expensive for most people with small houses. A good idea is one that's not too expensive and it saves a lot of space in a small house.

I’ve thought of having a bed that’s built in to the floor because why not plus you can’t fall out of the bed maybe with a lid so you don’t stand on it when not in use

Those folding stairs might be a good idea in one of those tiny homes.

I've had a chair that turns into a stepladder for about 20 years.

Imagine you have the spiral stairs thingy and there's a power out when you are on the upper floor.

Do not use nesting knives, they are too lightweight to cut effectively.

That pingpong table/door could be made at home for probably 250$ if you have a few basic tools like a circular saw, drill, screwdrivers, ect.

If I couldn't buy a bigger house then I can't buy any of these.

As an architecture student, our professors always push us to make use of every space available but we also have to think of its practicality and usefulness. It might be pretty to look at but it may also make your life a lil difficult than it's suppose to be.

I can imagine myself in the situation that I'm stuck upstairs because of the retracted stairs and the powers out.

Folding stairs, pocket and sliding doors are all part of great design.

My favorite thing about this channel is that it will eventually inspire people to steal these idea's and build, and sell them for a more reasonable price lol

Imagine getting up in the middle of the night, forgetting that the stairs are folded up.

You'd open out and retract the spiral stairway a lot when you first got it, and you'd show it off to each new visitor. Then you'd leave it open. The storage is great.

That first sink could probably be manual (push and click type) and save loads of money on electrics and waterproofing aforementioned electrics. And then it would be far more accessible and last much longer.

I love those nesting knives! Also love the “Brilliant Basin”. Even though I, no longer live in a home with stairs, I can see myself thoroughly enjoying those fold-out stairs.

The fact is if you know some people that can do wood work they could make these for a fraction of the cost of all these items.

I think these are the designers who may go to heaven for their ingenious design.

These innovations are the most clever ideas I have ever seen! Most of them are expensive but maybe they will become commonplace and be less pricey. They are examples of how inventive we humans can be.

Chair ladders can be found in yard sales, those chair ladders have been around for many many years. They even had one that has a ironing board on it as well

At the 7:44 mark The Lifting sink would be great in RV's, Tiny homes, cabins and such. This is where crunching space would fit this product perfectly.

I discovered a massive design flaw with those expensive nesting knives. After about a year of using and sharpening the blades (depending on how often they’re used, but for now let’s just say they’re used daily by a restaurant chef), they would become absolutely useless as there isn’t much of a blade to begin with. For any of you who don’t know, when you sharpen a blunt knife, you’re basically filing away metal to make the blade sharp again, much like the act of filing long fingernails. So overall this product would be an absolute waste of money and probably wouldn’t last longer than 2 years maximum. I would rather spend less money on high quality knives that would last a lifetime.

Considering the price tags, this is less innovative and more expensive.

I'm thinking of spraying my one sheet of plywood with a fancy finish, then cutting it into 2x8" planks and turning them into a spiral staircase, using unique patterns for each step, if there were some left over I'd use them for a wooden windchime

Downdraft extractors are often used on kitchen islands. A relative is well over 6 ft so when I had a new kitchen installed I chose an angled extractor fan - the kitchen looks visually bigger too.

I certainly can't afford any of these innovatively- designed pieces, but I can use their concepts to design my own.

I’ve had the up/down back extractor stove fan for decades now.. it’s great too I love it ! Makes me feel like I have a super high tech kitchen lol

My Idea is a bed that can be adjusted to be a sofa, a table or a cabinet. It works by pressing a button that changes the space and material, and it folds into a shelf.

Absolutely love the hanging mosquito net, an elegant and simple design, but it does not "solve all your pest problems." I have scorpions. The net has to be able to be completely intact and secured at the bottom at all times to keep the little stinging bastards from coming in under the edge... still trying to figure that one out...

Space Saving fort idea: if you have two couches near each other, flip up the cushions for walls and use the back flaps for a roof, then connect it all with blankets. If you don’t have a compatible couch, too bad.

If you can afford this stuff you probably have a big enough house that you don’t need any of it

Love the idea of the Deglon meeting knives set. But often people use more than one of a particular size. I'd need at least two of the smallest knife, for instance, but wouldn't need to purchase a whole extra set.

the MK1 transforming Coffee table can easily be recreated by buying the lumber from your local lumber yard like Lowe's, the Home Depot, or Menards. but I think if that anyone wanted to make one I think you'd need to pay royalty fees to the original creator of the original design though.

SPIRAL STAIRCASE ……… Again PERFECT for Tiny house living, especially because it’s on of the things pple living in tiny spaces struggle w/ the most Ladder or Stairs.. Stairs are easier to get up & down so sometimes Ladders seem to take less space but then there is sometimes the question of storage and leave it up or find a place on the wall to store it?? WOW!! This could really element that issue & solve allot of storage issues… In fact you not only get STAIRS BUT ALSO GAIN TONS MORE STORAGE!!! AWESOME IDEA👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
