That Colgate one was pretty cute. I don't think marketing teams realize how much people appreciate - and most importantly *remember* - innocent, fun marketing as opposed to "let's play 14 commercials in a row and have some of them imply you're a failed human being for not looking exactly like our models".

Even more genius is how they managed to get BE AMAZED to advertise their products for free

Barilla pasta has a certain nostalgia to me. It’s only available at Safeway in my town, and we shop at a different store most of the time. When I was younger Safeway was the only grocery store in town, so Barilla pasta was the brand we purchased when my family craved pasta.

As an Australian. Winter is the only time I ever eat ice cream. If I step outside with an ice cream cone in summer, it melts faster than I can shovel it down my throat. So winter is better. Our winters aren't exactly cold. It's the middle of winter today and it's 23*C or 74*F. So our ice creams still melt. Lol

There was an area I used to pass through that had billboards like these. My favorites were the cup of coffee (ad for a local coffee shop. It was made to look like steaming hot coffee pouring into a cup) and every summer this meat market had a billboard that had a picture of hot dogs, hamburgers and steaks on a grill. Red, yellow and orange sequins made the grill look like there was a fire in the grill. All the sign read was "It's grilling time".

Tha organization M.A.D.D. (Mother's Against Drunk Driving) ran a brilliant add for years (it even won a Chloe award) where you were looking out the windshield of a car and a beer glass would be put in front of your vision, then another, then another, representing how your vision and perception are blurred more and more with each glass. Very impactful.

The most effective ad ive ever seen wasnt even a special billborad. It was just a regular billboard, for Pape, and whenever we passed one (We passed many on an 11 hour car drive) My brother and I would scream "Papi" at my dad to annoy him. So it was the Pape billboard for me.

Unfortunately nothing sells unless you have a wide advertisement, it's essential. you won't get enough recognition even if it's of a good quality. Luckily Be Amazed here have this adorable little white guy attracting all the ladies

that ring two ad campaign sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen. "Yes, your honor, right after watching the trailer, this media company that I did not consent to having my contact details called me and played a clip in such suspicious but also creepy timing that I felt severe anxiety for the following seven days, and At the end of which I was so terrified that a mere sound of a door closing was enough to upset my footing whilst stood at the top of a staircase, and that's how I injured my neck and now cannnot feel below the waist, lost my job, have huge medical bills-" That kind of advertising campaign wouldn't be allowed to happen in many places.

I love the marketing strategy of The Ring 2! I wish I had known about it at the time.

When the first The Ring came out and was available on DVD, I rented it and watched it after work. I worked until 11pm but by the time I sat down it was after 1. So i started the movie and watched until the end. At about 3am and right after I finished the movie my home phone rang. I stayed frozen to the couch in one of the worst episodes of paralyzed by fear. When the answering maxing clicked on I heard my friend's voice. She and I had closed together so she was a late night person too. I yelled at her (in a friendly way) and told her what happened. Yes, I'm old, and yes, we still had house phones and answering machines then.

The most effective ad I've ever seen would have to be the TNT "Push for drama" commercial.

That video is basically an advertisement for those brands

I just got an ad at 22:45, called Markets and Markets, which is about stock and things like that. The twist though is that they don't use their own brand to compare to things, they use other bigger brands. I find that way different than your average ad. If you have seen it, then you know what I 'm talking about. If you make a second version, be amazed, then please put this one in, and maybe make a section of the video for only audience recieve dads. Heart this if you see it, and comment if you have seen this ad before.
