People outside of Aus won’t appreciate how difficult it is to amass a collection like this given how high our taxes are for everything, not to mention luxury car tax. Props to him for such an achievement.
Lmao the world is global, Australia, US, EU, North America same thing, if you think the taxes is what makes it easier or harder to achieve boy do you have a lot to learn and a ways to go. Money is money and you need a lot regardless where you are when collecting cars. What you fail to realize on a simple economic principle is that just because your car's cost more but you have free health insurance while in America car is cheaper but everyone pays for their own healthcare which is a lot, broken arm 5k, cavity 400, one night in the hospital is 25k, any scans are many thousands, if you get cancer it's easy to spend several 100k. That's just one example of thousands. So while your looking at the pennies being like it's crazy amount of pennies, but the pennies still equal a dollar, there's no free lunch anywhere and everywhere has their pros and cons but not to an extent that makes having super car collection easier or harder, regardless you need 100m, taxes is a by product of making money so it's a fruitless point to make. Your perception has a much bigger role in your life situation than you might realize, you need an expansive abundant mindset not a scarcity mindset, that's the first step to starting your journey in making any sizable success like this person has
Australia is a relatively low tax country compared to our peers. The complainers won’t like to admit it though. Plus, anyone who has a car collection like that would have so many financial schemes happening that they would pay hardly any income tax.
What an epic video! Nico you got the scoop, I think everyone the world over has been waiting to see the whole Lee collection finally on RU-vid. Proud that one of the best collections is owned by an Aussie and even prouder that he's a fellow Filipino!
Have you heard about Clive Palmer's collection of cars? I think it's around 500 vehicles at this stage. He's trying to build a car museum on the Sunshine Coast to house the collection.
Well done on a great walk through of this incredible collection. Love the fact they get driven. BTW..I want to hear more of your 575 with the exhaust upgrade. Still thinking about the headers for my car. Have you any more clips?
Beautiful cars, I love the fact it's so colourful. This collector is a driver not just a museum owner, and the passion to modify shows the character of an enthusiast
Wow! I've been living in Sydney for over half a century and until now didn't know that such a huge private supercar collection even existed in Australia, yet alone in Perth. I would guess that this is the biggest private supercar collection in Australia. This owner has more supercars in his warehouse than Lorbek or Dutton Garage would have in their Melbourne showroom! I would be interested to know more about the owner, Laurence? What does he do for a living, and how he manages to acquire such a unique collection.
Escalante founded his "VGW Holdings" online gaming company in 2010. It specialises in the “creation of cutting-edge online social games”, including Chumba Casino, Global Poker and LuckyLand Slots and his biggest chunk of income comes from USA based gamblers & online gamers. He is now estimated to be worth +$3billion. Not bad for a guy who started in his parents garage from basically nothing
Laurence would almost certainly have the most expensive collection here but I’m not sure it’s the largest. Tony Denny has 450 cars in his collection including 35 Ferraris ect.
The Lee collection has more cars than my matchbox collection 😂😂😂😂, great job guys. For us ‘normal’ people who would t be able to afford these toys, it’s a great insight.
If i could drive away anything in that collection: The Countach. Absolutely no doubt. That may be just the most aesthetically perfect cars I've ever seen. 😍😍
Perth has some of the wealthiest people here in Australia. People always talk about the rich from Sydney and Melbourne but the people here in Perth that I met here in Perth are super humble and laid back. Loving the collection!
History tells us that Australia generally has last dibs on special or rare vehicles. 😤 I hope this will now change. Love the video, feeling jealous. P.S. remember when Australia only had one new Lamborghini Diablo (Gold Coast), and only one crazy developer in Sydney would pay the $1,000,000 Tax on a brand new Jaguar XJ 220!! This country is certainly working class and the government likes to remind us.
The fact that this collection of cars in is Australia is extremely cool. But the fact that it is in Perth, the world’s most remote capital city, makes it the world’s coolest collection of cars on the planet. THEN, there the cars that comprises the collection & that they’re all driven & not one car is an exhibit or garage Queen or a low mileage investment. Cars are meant to be driven.
@@MattJelonek so people have to come around to your way of thinking & deny geographical facts. You go & live with the fairies mate & dream of being a dictator & the rest of us will enjoy our cars.
My 8 year old son is obsessed with Lee collection (especially the Bugattis). He is pressuring me to fly from Sydney to Perth just to spot the Bugatti!!!
I feel sorry for those at the bottom. People care more about things than helping others. Judging by the comments section this is something most people would aspire to if only they could. My riches are in heaven and never rot. I may never be the owner of an expensive car but people around me can say that I did everything in my power to help others first, and little to nothing out of vanity and extravagance for own indulgence. Tbh I find it sickening those at the top with such collections. Give it away and save your soul.
What an amazing car collection for Australia. Didn’t even know this existed and I’d love to be able to see this in person. Fortunately I’m an Aussie so it is possible. How did you get in contact to go into the collection?
I was working for a guy with a decent collection (nothing like this of course) and he had some of the less driven cars stored in carcoons when he was away. Do you guys use any air filtration or positive air pressure to keep that warehouse spotless?
