Don't get me wrong I love how you look I love your channel your sexy white boy but that's not a real gyro Gyros do not have lettuce it contains the Greek sauce bread lamb meat and tomatoes and slightly thin onion what the f*** is a salad doing on there
Watching these videos has actually helped me combat my overeating problem. I’m not horribly overweight (6’2, 220 lbs) but I have a tendency to eat until I hate myself. When I watch these vids, that desire leaves me. THANK YOU JOEL!!

Your great personality and awesome challenges make you a delight to watch. The gyro ( “Yero”) looked delicious!. I’m on team beef when it comes to gyros.
It is a gyro as in gyroscope I had my 1st one in the 1960s as a child. A Greek man made me repeat it time after time. Joel pronounced it correctly as it is Greek. Thank you Pete Pappadopolous hope I spelled the name correctly. He sold hi biz years ago.
@@tugglemiles2991 I worked 10 years in Greek restaurant. I worked with a John Papadopoulos , and the Hartzimanolis's. That might be like Smith and Jones not sure. But great food and had a Lamb Gyro every Monday, they are habit forming.
This place is a New York City staple that have food carts throughout the city which made them famous. I had no idea there was one in Vegas, let alone one that has a challenge. This was awesome to watch, the Halal guys have good food. They opened one up in Orlando Florida, sometimes I’ll take an hour drive to go get some and I always get a bunch of extra sauce to bring back home.
You know the food is awesome. When Joel turns into a bobble head. He's eating. Head bobbing up and down in agreement of how awesome the food taste. The Gyro looks like a large soft shell Taco. Good eats 😋.

Absolutely love your videos Joel and you stand alone in the competitive eating arena. It drives me a bit crazy when people mispronounce words like Gyro with the "G". The G is silent. It's like pronouncing Merlot with the "T". It's not a personal preference. One is correct, the other sounds ignorant (to me anyway).
I ONCE HAD A CLASSMATE WHO WAS FROM GREECE AND SHE TOLD ME THAT IT'S PRONOUNCED "HERO". IT IS SUCH A DELICIOUS SANDWICH, I AM SURE YOU ARE ENJOYING IT SO, OF COURSE, YOU WILL WIN THIS CHALLENGE! CONGRATULATIONS, BOSSMAN!!!!
The closest we have to the gyro over here in England is the donner kebab, which is usually (questionable) lamb, but a lot of places do a chicken donner too 😋 Usually consumed after a night on the piss 🍺 🍷 🥂 😆
Sup Joel. As you may know gyro is my favorite thing😍. 4ft wow with extra taziki sauce I would sleep with one😂🤣😂😂 gyro or yuro? It's gyro lol. Taziki sauce should be Greek yogurt, garlic and cucumber. I make my own lamb meat spiced on a rotisserie or if too much snow in loaf pan. Was in Greece when learned from Michael symon how to season meat, he told me how to make on rotisserie or loaf pan. Too expensive to make just lamb, so mix with beef, have to grind your own. Prefer on rotisserie. Never heard of chicken? Only chicken soulvakie? They do make beef. But authentic is lamb. But it's usually beef/lamb mix. I would try this in heartbeat. It's just amazing. Some places don't put garlic in taziki sauce. But it gives spice and flavor, how it's done 👍. Can tell how much I enjoyed this 🤣. Guess what I'm making Memorial day cookout🤔 lol. Ty tc
Hello from Greece.Its called "Γύρος" or in enlgish Gyros but not Tzyros.Visit Greece to eat the real stuff mate.Greetings :) nice video.Also the white sauce (yogourt cucumber etc) called tzatziki.

I love these things... sometimes you find them with just "beef" but the really good ones have a mixture of beef and lamb as the meat... the tzatziki sauce.... man o man... you' re making me wanna go get one... or two... but no way as much as what Joel can eat....
Hey Joel, great to see another Canadian out there just killing it in the competitive eating scene. What does your workout and diet look like when you are eating big versus when you are not eating big. I only ask because you are one of the most jacked even with all that food you eat.
Hello Joel. I love The Halal Guys. The white sauce is addicting, and the red sauce is so hot it's literal fire. A little of the red sauce goes a long way, but I gotta have them both.
