Seeds after 40 were randomized which is why LordFrognaros was placed on seed 152 despite being higher rated than others with a better seed, but you were placed appropriately at seed 9. Banger game as always
Great match! Lash really showed her strengths on this map. It's interesting to note that you didn't feel the need to tech up once in the match. Lash's tanks are just that op I guess. In other news your round 2 match was pretty short. I wouldn't bother making a video on it.
Sadly I was put in the highest tier even though by far standard is my worst. I make the mistake of picking Lash vs Andy, that being said it was a hella fun match where I HQ rushed and used my super, but Andy's SCOP was too strong, and he cleared me off. I had a 4k income lead and perhaps if I was more patient, but it was a live game. Looking forward to the Bengals v Bills game, go Bills!
That is such an incredible comeback. I thought you are losing when LordFrognaros do that beautiful move after the typhoon. But you climbed up. Ngl I think this is your second best epic comeback, second to only when your opponent capture one of your base and build a megatank.
Seeding for tournament was based on highest achieved overall rating, not current rating, nor standard rating. Division 1 cutoff was just under 1200 I think (I'm 17 seed in division 2, was about 1160 at the time it started). Banger matchup, love the thumbnail for Frognaros.

Hey, organizer of the Amarriner Cup and other on-site tourneys here. 😄As some others said, seeds after 40 were randomized for this first tourney of the AWBW Legends tournament series since the top 40 was the top 25% of the division. This was an older way of seeding tourneys way back in the day, but we wanted to experiment with it for this vastly larger tournament that's also our first on-site tourney in forever. That way the top seeds still won't play each other for a few rounds, but lower seeds don't have to go in immediately expecting to get destroyed by the likes of Go7 or Starflash. However, this problem is only really apparent in Division 1 play (all the other divisions are shockingly even from top to bottom), and it could probably be argued that a Div 1 lower seed has a far more likely chance of pulling an upset than a 800-elo or 700-elo player might, so we may see more traditional seeding return in the future, at least for Division 1 play, if top-25-percent seeding doesn't work out.
Great comeback Deej! I really thought you were done for after the first typhoon. But the small mistakes and inaccuracies added up and the neo tank going in the wrong direction was the nail in the coffin imo. In my match I picked Andy and my opponent picked Drake. So we were both pretty far off from the best picks lol. I was down 27k to 25k in income but I managed to grab both comm towers. And with my first scop I managed to block a base and did a shit ton of damage. My opponent resigned before even using his scop.
Fun game to watch. I did want to ask though what was the music you played at around the 40 minute mark? I know its random to ask but you pick some great music for these.

Had he sent his neo tank down, you'd have lost all your counter play on the left side. But we take those Deej great job and some fine plays there to boot. I do prefer live game matches as well, adds more fine baboon touches to the game.
I got knocked out in the first match. Didn't realise it was the tournament, I thought it was global league. I picked drake, played terribly and resigned on day 9 lmao. I played someone too good for me 😆
