Very impressive setup. I enjoy equipment builds. I am in the pressure washing industry and have built all of my rigs. Nothing special but nothing like having a setup that works for you. We have been looking at getting into washing buildings with drones. That is how I ended up on your video.
Right on thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it! If you have any questions about them trailer I am a dealer for Apexx trailers and would be happy to help.
Thank you for the kind comments and for watching! Glad you are getting something out of the videos we put out. I need to do a better job of getting more out there as this industry is starving for content. The motorcycle is a must. You will only do the walk of shame once when you run low on battery and have to land a half mile away only to have to carry a 30 lb battery all the way out there and back. Also very useful for confirming boundary points if needed.
Thank you! If I'm not mistaken mine was the first Apex produced in an all white frame. Makes sense down here in Texas and it really compliments our brand standards.
I'm down here in Texas with lots of sun and it's actually quite the contrary. The drone will when landing since the top of the deck as an obstacle which I then disable and land manually. I prefer that anyways I don't want to rely on autonomous landing on the top deck.
@@VortexAdvantageAg That is a smart idea. Looks the goods anyway. Amazing seeing what you Americans are coming up with in the drone Space. I'm looking to implement a lot of what you guys are doing over there here in Australia. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for watching and best of luck to you as you implement drones in your operation. Let me know if you ever have any questions happy to share my experience
It's even better when the same toy can be very useful in the field putting in work. We have found them to be hugely useful. I used to do a lot of motocross and desert style riding on big CRF450s and our crew always had smaller pit bikes like this that we did up to make them big boy bikes with aftermarket bars, seats, forks and shocks, and lots of other accessories you can go crazy. Having beers at the campfire and ripping around a small track at camp was always fun after a long day of riding on the big bikes. I just took that thought process and applied it here just haven't done all the upgrades on my little Honda yet.
Thank you much appreciated! I only wish Apexx had this trailer back when I built my first trailer. I would have snatched it up and saved myself the trouble😁👊🏻 thanks for watching! Don't forget to subscribe if you haven't
We plan on running six T60 drones next spring. Custom spreading granular fertilizer. Air conditioners for upper deck pilot’s command station and chargers is a must. Need approx 6 ton hopper for fertilizer. 45 foot trailer pulled by 1 ton dually. Hydraulic unfolding walls to give us lots of room on the upper deck is preferred. What are your thoughts on the design of this?
Hey there. Sounds like a pretty elaborate setup. One concern I would have is maneuverability given that is a very long trailer and with the truck will be difficult to navigate tighter access fields. Not sure where you're located or what type of terrain you'll need to navigate to get your spray work done but if you plan on running six drones off one trailer you're going to need multiple generators, and supporting equipment. Honestly I think flying six drones off one rig is going to be challenging to say the least and probably less efficient than having three separate trailers with two drones on each. Having that option would afford you more maneuverability and enable you to keep your team close to the start point and resumption point for each of the two drones. With six you're going to need to move very frequently. I'd love to hear what you decide to do and how it works out for you maybe I'm wrong just my two cents Good luck! If you need diesel generators I get great pricing on them and offer all sizes.
Hey there another thought process on having t60s by spring. I'm very doubtful that would happen given the T50 is the drone DJI is pushing in the US market most likely until late summer. At least that's been roughly the release schedule for newer models. We'll see but seems highly unlikely they would release the T60 right on top of the T50. When you do decide to pick up drone equipment let us know! We are affiliate dealers of Agri spray drones and can get you anything you need 👍🏻 my cell is 817-659-3211
Hey there you can get them from your local distributor for TruKleen. Mine happens to be a Kubota dealership if you look at the F / s manufacturing catalog you'll see those parts offered.
This guy has more money than he knows what to do with! His first setup was over $200k he said, this trailer alone (in basic config) is $60k! Now he has a truck setup…. Holy hell! Venture Capital money running rampid!
Hey there thanks for checking back in. That all in cost on the previous trailer was over 200k with two drones and all needed equipment. That trailer itself all in was about 65,000. This trailer as it sits is about 75,000 with the added 100 gallon inductor tank. You can get a base model for 65k. We aren't Venture capitalists either. I know that's the easy explanation but just hard-working folks with a solid business plan and ability to make money
We are feeding our spreaders with Super B’s. We have 2 Deere boom trucks and a spinner currently running. Like to have each machine spread 30,000 acres. Takes 5 drones to equal 1 of our other machines at 1/3 the cost. Not sure if it’s possible but we are looking into it! We are in Southern Alberta 🇨🇦
Well it sounds like you have a great plan put together and have put a bunch of thought into it. I wish you the best of luck with it would be curious to hear how that goes!
My current 44807 exemption only allows me to fly one drone because I do not have swarm capability yet however I did submit my amendment 3 months ago and am awaiting that capability. I do know that new exemptions when issued have swarm capability which will allow you to fly up to three drones with one pilot. Not saying that's a good idea if you're not very experienced
Hey there thanks for watching! The trailer as this sits is about 75,000 considering I added the 100 gallon cone inductor tank on the back you can get a basic setup without the upper deck Landing platform for roughly 65,000. You can order it in a bumper pull or gooseneck let me know if you're interested we can custom order one
Hey there thanks for watching. This trailer is it sits is roughly 75,000 with the 100 gallon inductor tank on the rear you can order it in gooseneck or bumper pull whichever you prefer. Let me know if you're interested we are a dealer. You can also order it without the upper Landing deck for roughly 65,000 which is the base model
