There needs to be more building shapes, especially for console because its such a pain to build cool bases. Everything seems so rigid unless you can figure out the "glitch building" stuff.
The truth is. I bought this to see how the building mechanics were compared to starfield, and now idc I love everything about this game Starfield = Old news
i just started this game 2 days ago after the massive failure and disappointment of starfield and years of having a biased bad opinion on NMS… i can‘t stop playing it…😂
How did these guys build these bases without stuff disappearing on them. I built a base and spent so much time trying to get it perfect only to have things that I placed in it, like save points and light fixtures, disappear when I leave. I'd come back after not even going to far (I wouldn't even leave the general area where base is located) and I'd noticed this just despawn. However, with things like save points that I place down, the game would tell me that I can't place anymore because it's limited to just one per base, but the save point wouldn't even be there anymore and there's nothing to interact with when I go to the exact spot that I placed it down.
Explore. Try to find your perfect world, if you have not already. Build. I have not bothered with the story line past getting to the anomaly. I've been too busy exploring.
It seems like the game maybe is not for you. The story is just the introduction to no man's sky. It's a metaphore. The amount of things that you can do in this game is ridiculous
