They desperately need to allow us to add NPC's and shops to our bases to make them feel 'alive'. I love how impressive the base building in NMS can be, but everything just feels so 'dead' after the initial 'wow' factor. I want to be able to build a base that also functions like a combination of a settlement, space station and freighter. With NPC's moving around, stuff to buy, etc.
Model building typically lacks programming in residential aspects, including multi-fam and single-fam, mixed-use with retail. Also assembly, institutional, manufacturing and other zoning issues. It can be done, but rarely see design process. Maybe an anachronistic direction taken with design, too. GLITCH BUILDING IS AWESOME!!!, but what would the guys from the Modernist Age use NMS for ? Theyd have BLAST!
Crescent moon, Bird, Whale, Hexagon, Atlas, Atlas, Tent, Dragonfly, Crescent Moon, Hexagon, Beetle, Flux Capacitor. - Hilbert Dimension/Galaxy. Planet “Serenity” Base name “Homestead 2” It’s a puzzle base, and it was made because my friends and I were harassed by some randoms while learning the basics of base building on a paradise planet that we had found. So I spent the next month or so working out an intricate trap base to ensnare the unwary traveller. But what ended up happening was an awesome puzzle base that requires several people working cooperatively to escape from. I would love to see you feature it in one of your videos, and I believe you would have a blast working your way through it. Tip though, bring friends.
Stoked you toured my base! Chimera is for the civ/ builder group i am a part of. glad you enjoyed viewing it... there's many awesome builds in that system, enjoy!
Ah so that's where the name came from! Got that wrong haha, but seriously the base is awesome, thanks for sending it over. I also checked out your Horizon one as well, so good!
some of these bases show that hello games could use a bit more work with their designs. these users here are doing some killer work. id love to see these types of buildings in the base game. especially helios, with the hex doors :)
i have made a few bases but i am no where near this creative. this is insane. i dont like open areas but thats because im always in toxic areas. Maybe i need to find a paradise planet. awesome video and such cool bases!
Love this series. I’m building reach city from the halo tv series right now. I found a way to go way over 16000 base part limit as I have split up the city to 8 bases (fleetcom building and 6 sectors of the city) by splitting it up over 4 accounts. Should be finished in next month or so
How do you get off the planet?Where is the ship?Where are the items I need to get off the planet.I have been collecting items for two years, just walking around is so boring. Please help.
Most building parts are unlocked at the space anomaly, but some of them are bought with quicksilver, also at the space anomaly, although some of them are found as stabilized glitches on exotic planets
Paradise planets! (locate by my base names I don't remember the planet names. Some have two names because early on I didn't realize you could only upload one base per planet and I don't remember what one I have uploaded right now. RIP.) My bases are nothing compared to these but the planets are cool if any of you more talented people want to be my neighbor! Euclid Galaxy 1. Do these bases have a lot of pop in with objects and walls loading in? Or do they make the game crash? I’m playing on Xbox series x so I’m just nervous visiting bases of this scale lol. I’m just remembering 3 or 4 years back when base builds were super unoptimized and half of the bases you visited would be half unloaded or they’d be so big they’d cause performance issues. This was before the Xbox series x and ps5 tho so maybe everything runs smooth now. I haven’t bothered with visiting bases in years.
I'm on the verge of giving up on NMS because I'm sick of the constant crashes. I spent three days converting a trade outpost into a huge base only to find I got into a crash loop that occurred every time I tried to reload the game. I had to redownload a previous online save from before I started building the base so wasted all that time and can't be bothered rebuilding it! It seems to have got worse since the Omega update too! If I didn't love the game so much I would have deleted it ages ago.
@@B-A-L Oof yeah that is very outdated hardware man. It’s really sad that the ps4 and Xbox one versions are falling behind so much since nms launched on them originally. You’d think the devs would care more about their og fans. Part of me thinks the dev team got too over ambitious with updates and the ps4 and Xbox are just an afterthought now.
