Im suprised the engine lasted that long without blowing anything.when an engine is well built it can go throught this much stress props to the mechanics

Love my ss ls1 street car quick cam intake=cheap power but when it came time to power the wb ute rather than buy a used ls for 1500 I purchased a 350 dart block and went from there, cost more for similar hp gains but it’s worth more as a package and will handle tremendous amounts more hp if I wanted to add a blower or nos. Old school will never die
I think the rods would quit since they have a lot of centrifugal force and the pistons are more "secured" than the rods. But before that happens, the valves would probably collide with the pistons at a certain rpm, destroying the engine
Dam! Dude that was the baddest burnout I ever seen. That shit was hot. Must of had good heat shields underneath to not catch fire. But down to rims. Can't beat that. Shit was great..
I don't know what's more impressive, the fact that during the burnout the clontall recipricator valve managed to stay intact or the shot at 2:26 showing the pillanium oxall cylinder splitting WITHOUT any internal combustion!!! One in a million chance, awesome to have it captured on video.
