Got Qin Shi Huang on the very first roll, I was so disappointed. But then on the very last roll, rainbow sparks appear, then boom, Arjuna Alter. Best GSSR ever. Also, got Castoria in 5 tickets.
Not here to brag but i got the feeling FGO tryna get me to grind the game, literally started a week ago since castoria was coming out and my pulls for castoria were just too good. I got castoria twice from doing 2 ten pulls using my free quartz and did a hail marry today and got her in a single summon ticket
Literally put me on suicide watch, 900+ quartz and 98 tix, 2 caster fake outs and no 5 stars. 10 months of saving. 8 rituals I literally bought a bigger bouquet of flowers for castoria than my gf. I’m done.

@@cromusician6153 "beat the game" what's the point? I can do it, but what then? Only routine with weekly missions and events once per month. I mean thats you can't play this game if you f2p and have hope to get your fav servant from sq you saved. I wasted 800 sq 86 tickets and didnt get Castoria, so what's the point of playing the game where the only two positive sides is hentai and plot, but these two things can be found on nhentai and RU-vid, so i dont see the pont in playing the game where you can spent months for nothing and play servants that you dont like at all, because i have only few good servants out of maybe 50 other servants
Congrats on getting Godjuna! I really appreciate you posting highlight videos of your streams. I work long hours, so I’m not able to hit your live streams. I was able to get Castoria with one kita Sean ritual and Mothman on my GSSR banner while on a 10-min break. So fortunate!
I usually get the rate up SSR within the first 300 SQ but I didn’t get NP1 Castoria until about 700 sq. Ngl made me sweat a little… Now all I need this year is Kama, Da Vinci Rider, and Himiko and I’m good.
For me it took 510 SQ, had to buy a pack but she came on the first roll after buying. The only servants I'm looking for this year are Summer Kama (hopefully NP2), Ibuki and Vritra. Summer Kama might be a bit spicy since it's super close though.

I’m cursed with 4 stars and blessed with 5 stars. Blew all my SQ before Castoria and don’t regret it because I got Ishtar, Jalter, and Sitonai back to back each with a single multi, got Saber and Summer Musashi each with a single ticket, got Bunnytoria, then got Castoria on my third multi. In all the banners I’ve pulled since I started though, I’ve never gotten a rate up 4 star. Rolled the year 5 GSSR banner expecting to FINALLY get a 4 star since I have none of them, but didn’t get one at all. Instead I got NP2 Summer Musashi and Super Orion. Like I said… blessed by the SSRs and cursed by SRs. Dunno if I should be happy or sad. Hell, even trying to get a story banner servant (Circe) I ended up with NP2 Odysseus instead. Not complaining, but goddamn I can’t get 4 stars ever.
Wait I thought this type of GSSR guarantees at least a 4 star servant. Guess I'm illiterate though so I'm gonna go read up on what that banner means cause I've already used it. Edit: checked on the wiki version of the banners and it says at least 1 4 star from the list below. So unless Lasengle did some kind of change to it in NA, it's really strange that you didn't get one of the 4 stars.
@@Kryptora I thought so too! I thought even if you get 2 5 stars you’ll still be guaranteed a 4 star but I didn’t get one at all. I got a 4 star CE but no 4 star servant at all, not even an off banner one. I even took a screenshot of it. I just don’t want to message them and have them tell me I’ll like lose one of my 2 5 stars to get one. 😂
Saved up since OCTOBER and only spent some to get NP2 Summer Musashi this summer, and I finally got her. Thanks for hyping her up so I could stay strong my man. 9 tickets and 270 SQ was what it took to bring her home. (Also I got Kama on my GSSR so I am actually sobbing with the gacha gods blessings. Now I'm gonna be saving for Yang's rerun and the rest'll go for the hell that is next year.
No luck for me. Minroll year 4 gssr with King Protea and Yu Meiren and 720 quartz and 26 tickets with no Castoria to show for it. Worse, an np3 Tamamo spook! I'm holding out hope for Thursday when I get paid but it's lookin dicy...
Got Castoria in my first 30 tix, then I spent like 400 SQ for nothing, but I finally got my first copy of Black Grail, Origin bullet and Prisma Cosmos, plus got higher NP copies of some 4 stars I use. Still have 1000SQ left, but I'm quitting while I'm ahead. Got Qin Shi Huang for my GSSR. I was hoping for BB summer, but this is good too.
I was up for the maintenance to be over and I couldn't get in for the first half hour because servers were too busy. Had to stay awake for another hour while I pulled for her
You all may hate me, but I found this amusing. Yesterday I got almost blackout drunk and apparently did a drunk pull. I barely remember it and thought I dreamed about getting a second Castoria to the extent that I had to double-check this morning to see that Castoria was, in fact, actually now NP2. The only downside is I meant to save my quartz for Rider Da Vinci :P
I'm so happy this anniversary, off the Free Sq alone I acquired from the anniversary and + about 50 i had saved up I was able to get 3 copies! Thats where my luck ended though my GSSR pull ended up being Bunny Altoria and the dinosaur thing
So far I'm still salty. Barely slept last night and was stuck unable to login for a while because of busy server issues or whatever and when I finally got to play the game and use up everything I could get a hold off on day 1, what did I get after exhausting all my resources? 2 Astolfos, 2 Ann and Mary, 1 Heracles, 1 Seigfried, 1 Nursery Rhyme and 1 Napoleon...right now I'm saltier than the ocean.
I pulled for Arjuna alter when he first came out and got 2 in the same multi summon. Only other time I was that lucky was when I got two Merlins on my first multi on one of his banners I forget which one.
My brother was rolling extra to mlb the 5* CE, and asked me to join him. I'd just gotten Castoria, and he already had her, but the man likes his CEs. I decided one more multi wouldn't kill me, and so I got my first double 5* servant roll. That makes np3 Castoria; good times. As for gssr, I was getting tired of seeing other peoples' Tama lancers and wishing I had one, so I went with that banner. Not the most optimal for gameplay, but plenty of good servants there. I ended up with a new Ishtar, which definitely counts as a win in my book. All in all, a very nice anniversary. Love the new dailies too: 14m qp for one gold apple is a great change. And double that for a week? I'm actually playing the game, even filling servants' voice lines for the first time in months.
I only had nobu (np3) and Kingprotea (np1) on the year 4 banner and I pulled kingprotea 😭😭 I would have been happy with np4 nobu, but kingprotea was the one I didn’t want lol. And my 4 star was asvathamaan, which I already have at np5. Then on my alt account I pulled kingprotea again! Screw this game lol. The gssr roll for me was literal worst case scenario 😭😭 On the plus side, I did pull castoria 3 times with the free quartz and tickets
congrats ! i had like 1063 sqs and 24 tix , took 21 tix n 150 sqs to get her . Now i can save the rest for kama . Failed her last year so hopefully will get her this year !
OK so on a lark I just decided to do a couple more rolls for Castoria because I still had almost 1500 quartz left and with 200 more quartz I got three more copies, bringing me to NP 5. On 1 roll, I rolled two of her at once and have the snap shot to prove it. Overall I’ve spent seven tickets and 410 quarts getting me an NP five Castoria. I am not gonna roll shit for the rest of the year am I?
This event is giving me all the luck I need. I pulled the fifth year gssr banner and I got summer musashi and 2 more copies of archer osakabehime. Then, I got spooked by scheherazade when pulling for castoria. Luckily, after that, I got 2 copies of castoria and another copy of tamamo cat after 4 more multies
I got her in my first 10, got a single copy of the 5 * ce on the second 10. Just debating if I should try my luck on np2+. I had this same predicament with Space Ishtar to only spend 270 sq past the np1 to get no dupes. I went with sunk cost fallacy and got Space Ishtar to np3 after nearly 400 sq.
Got Np2 Summer BB from my GSSR and my first copy of Lan Ling. Not upset at all honestly. Rolled for Castoria in the morning, got her within less than 300 quartz. Saw I only had 2 of the 5 star ce so I went back to get 3 more copies, when I got the 3rd copy I got np2 Castoria. Feels good man.
Saved my SQs leading up to her debut banner, 440+ SQs, 220+ SQs from fragments, 660+ SQs total, along with 40 tx. Results? Spooked by nito, copies of valk, zerkerlot, nyanta, rama, vlad (lancer), 2x lanling, parvati, 2 MLB anni 5* and 4* CEs, and NO CASTORIA. At least the GSSR banner softened the blow, with spishtar and summer okita (good for farming, i guess). Meanwhile, people got her with 10tx and some even below 300 SQs, just made the salty level worse. Pointless saving for horrendous results, spishtar might help me cope along the way, I read that there's a 10 tx giveaway on the 7th day of the anniversary, will roll for her but if it turned out nothing, I'm considering on just doing daily, weekly, extra quests along with SQs for every 2 days and monthly SQ bonus and logging off.
Ack, I feel a lot of your pain. I saved massively for this, and all said and done ended up with about 1000 SQ. It cost me about 700 SQ to finally get Castoria NP1. That is really kinda ridiculous for 1 copy of a character, so I wish you the best of luck in actually getting her. That said, at the end of the day, she makes the game easier, but even she is not a requirement. If you fail to get her, I'd just ask yourself why you play the game? FWIW, for me, it is the characters and the general story. Castoria is cool as a character (I can't say much on her story since I haven't had time to bond her up yet), but there are also a lot of other awesome characters in the game/franchise. Unfortunately, Gatcha breeds disappointment and annoyance, and maybe sometimes walking away for a bit is helpful, but try to remember what you liked about the game, and make a plan to come back more fully at some point if your think it's worth it. Otherwise, based on what you said above, I think you'll forget what you liked about the game, and just stop playing entirely. I went through something similar when I failed to get Skaadi (who still hates me to this day) and wasn't sure how I could manage without her and enjoy the game. LSS, she was incredibly helpful in the youtube tutorials I watched, but she wasn't required to complete quests and stores. Finally though, if you really feel the game is no longer for you because you missed Castoria (and probably more specifically because the Gatch is freaking brutal), move on without regret. Hopefully, you have some fun with FGO, but there are a huge array of games out there, both mobile and otherwise. The way you are describing playing sounds more like a chore than fun to me, and if it stops being fun, what's the point? I still hope you get Castoria, but if you don't, hopefully, this is a helpful line of thought. Of course, if not, feel free to ignore this as well, since you should never feel obligated toward a person's opinion, much less a game ;D Either way, good luck mate!
It ain't a chore to me since I do farm even on dead weeks, and on events I farm way too much. I got into the game because it's fate, read the VN during my HS days and am a fan of Gil and was lucky to get him, my CQ killer. Appreciate the luck pass, wish she comes to my chaldea too, here's hoping.

Something about your post reminded me of somebody I knew who ended up playing one of these style games, but forgot about why they enjoyed them; I also came close to that at one point: just "playing to play a particular game," so to speak. As long as you still enjoy it, it's all good. Once again though, best of luck in getting some Gatcha luck at the end of this whole thing! Also, agree that Gil rocks, and I was lucky to get him early on through a ticket of all things😁 I'm more anime that Visual Novel for time and access reasons, but Fate/Stay Night with Gil vs Hercules and Gil vs Shirou are incredible fights (even if Shirou got plot armor in the latter) . 😉 Also, Gilgamesh in Babylonia was just awesome, and the Gigamesh in the "previews" for prototype and strange/fake both look incredible as well. Definitely one of my favorite characters in the entire Fate Universe. Also, while sort of a different approach, even the Kalied Liner route makes interesting use of Gil's powers, even with a different personality approach.
I had over 900 sq and got down to 46 sq 😭. But still got castoria and I had the worst luck on year 4 gssr. I got Murasaki Shibiku as my SSR. I wanted everyone besides her and avenger nobu 😭😭😭😭
Congrats on getting Castoria. I managed to score a copy of her in just 3 multi summons. Sadly I didn't get the GSSR I wanted (went in for Scathach, got Dantes instead, oh well, at least I got Nero; god I hate those RNG guarantee banners).
Got 2 copies on the 10th roll. Then I knew I had to roll till i got her to NP5. Maxed her after spending all of my 580 sq and got my last copy on my last ticket (9 outbof 10). Now I need a farmer but I'm out of sq lel.
Got castoria in my first mult the first card was a gold caster which was a spooked and then followed by a sparked caster which turnout to be castoria lol my emotions were played with within a few seconds
~500 SQ & 40 Tickets, got NP2 Castoria, Waver Spook, Nightengale Spook, Lancer Vlad, Astrea, Saber Diarmuid, and a couple other SR's, this banner was really good to me. Best of luck to everyone else out there going for Castoria.
I lucksacked into Castoria after only 9 tickets. Now I have no idea what to do with my leftover 500 quartz and 20 other tickets... Summer Summons, maybe? Alter Ego Kiara gets rerun when Ooku eventually comes, I guess.

Had luck catch up from the bait summer and Requiem banners (overall 40 multis and 11 5 stars including NP5 Vouyager). Over 30 multis, 26 tickets then 4 singles and on the last single at 0 quartz she came home.

Also, after I got Castoria I maaaaaay have tossed a few at a certain set of Sakura faces, aiming toward the big one . . . No love there either. I went year two and got Ishtar and Marie caster. Very fitting since I got ereshkigal last anniversary gssr. Also got castoria in only 300 sq, which is pretty good all things considered.
Tried to use this video as a catalyst and follow your lead for Arjuna Alter…spit out Kama instead. (Now have her at NP4 so not complaining) Castoria has been a temptress so far but not giving up on my Arts Queen til I get at least NP2!! So send some of that god tier Castoria gacha my way.
I got skadi in 90 sq when she came out. And castroria in 30. And on my gssr i got mhxx and a 3rd!! Copy of avenger nobu np4 now going to destory any divine enemies.
got a friggin jinako spook and helena spook, bought a £70 pack and second roll of the pack I get her. I have been maniacally laughing all day looping NP's finally levelling servants.
about 250 SQ and 36 tickets and got Castoria NP 1. On my GSSR I went for Merlin in Year 2 and got King Hassan (NP2 for me) and Melt (New) for the double SSR pull, so not who I wanted but I got someone I like and pumped up Gramps at the same time.
Got Castoria on my 5th multi, not too bad, 400sq left. On my GSSR I ended up getting both Beni-Enma and Nobunaga, which I was pretty satisfied with because I needed a strong Saber and Nobu is just cool even if they're not meta.
castoria took all the anniversary quartz and more from rank up quests i had to farm this morning from servants I just leveled. shit was brutal but she finally came in clutch thanks to the rank up quest mission farm.
on the first day i used 4th year summon and i got Rider Sima Yi and i tried 480 quartz and no castoria yet for me. now I am trying to finish main quests to get more free quartz to summon her on the next rate up banner soon. what should i do if i didn't manage to get her after the event ends?
Update : DUDE After doing free quests and Saving 60 quartz I finally managed to get Castoria on the second multi which was on the last 11th card which was a rainbow summon. What Luck that i could cry!!!
I rolled for Yang and got two copies of Sei and when I rolled for castoria I used all my tickets and quartz plus 167 pack and Not only did I not get castoria I didn’t even get a single four star servant. ALL CE’s WTF FMGL(my gacha life)
Good lord she makes Musashi a monster. I don't even have all of Castoria's skills maxed out yet & I'm getting refunded well over 100% of Musashi's Np gauge every time.
Musashi and Space Ishtar. I got super lucky and got 1 on the former and 2 of the latter, and both are near guarantees against 3 enemies, and over 50% on individuals. Definitely worth all the saving (and sadly all the spending in my case).
I got her in like 2 ten pulls but greeded for the NP2 and now I'm down to 90 sq but at least now my Castoria has a bigger number than most peoples right hahaha 🤡🔫
I rolled the same banner and somehow i got Beni Enma and BB (second copy) ,also got Castoria early and i can spend the rest on Kama since i didnt get it on this GSSR banner ,also for those who didnt get Castoria you still have a chance in case you didnt finish story or rank up quests soo dont give up!
Well my summons went ok 200 quartz and 20 tickets and I got castoria And the year 5 gssr Year 5 I got summer melt (first copy) and summer osakubihime I did not get rider Vinci space Ishtar or berserker musashi but I did get Romulus and a kscope (first one) Castoria summons I got castoria k scope Mlb celebrate memories Mlb brain storming Lakshmi bai Marie And 2 yan qing
