I mean, she definitely can be. But I’m also insane and have spent too much time staring at numbers for her and how I can make it work. Still, it won’t stop me from making her outshine Artoria.
Going for all 3 and I would say they're all conditional must-summons rather than true ones. For starters and like you said, RS is only a must-summon and the best of the 3 for you if you actually already have quick units for her to support. SI is only a must-summon DPS and the best of 3 for you if you're a new player and/or have none of the other arts omni loopers. And LA is only a must-summon and the best of the 3 for you if you're a new player and/or don't already have og Merlin. For someone with a reasonably-developed roster, it's more for the sake of optimization than actually requiring them for your account to be able to functionally clear content
I disagree. She's a great unit to have, but that goes differently to each Master. If you already have Merlin, then she's just going to be a luxury pull, not a must have. But if you don't, then she's definitely a great unit to have, especially if paired with Castoria in an immortal team so that you won't have to worry about hard bosses in main quests.

That's certainly overly dramatic. Summer Gareth is FINE and serviceable if you put work into her (fous, grails, max scope) She's aoe, she can LOOP ergo farm with double Oberon + 3rd support She wasn't supposed to shake the meta, masters who like her can definitely put her on good use.
she needs a buff to her 3rd skill. give her 30% battery heck i dont think it will be a problem if it was a 50% also hear me out on this burn power mod 50% to 100% meaning target is burned she gives herself a boost to her power. I dont think she would be that broken with that power mod
wait, ztl, the guy that pretty much Glazes every unit. I'll chalk this one as the one unit that when people say "You can beat the content with pretty much any unit" they are probably talking about Garath. which you should count as a feather in the game's cap.
They really need to throw her a buff to give her a crit damage buff since she has the stars but doesn't have a crit buff despite being a buster servant with consistent stars
I had already wrote this down somewhere and idk where but here's the main problem about Gareth. She is a Servant who was designed as an unnecessary cheap Gawain (makes no sense since Fergus just received his upgrade that makes him mini Gawain) when Gareth should have been a miniature copy of Lancelot as she is his #1 fan, she is a fan of Lancelot, not Gawain, so it doesn't make the slightest sense that she is more like mini Gawain even though she always looks towards Lancelot and even in her attacks she shouts Imitation Arondight overload and not Imitation Excalibur Galatine. She could have been the new Saber AOE buster like Gawain but with the ability to deploy criticals as if she were Lancelot but they confused who her brother is with the one she admires. Gareth is my favorite round table servant and I hope one day they fix it with something like Gawain that his NP increases his criticals by 50% 3T or that they completely change her NP permanently from AOE to ST going from a failed farmer to an absolute beast Boss killer (a BIG Def buff like her Lancer ver is also good) since otherwise, something as simple as increasing the ATK duration from 1T to 3T wouldn't do her much good or fix any of her problems as were several 1st year Servant buffs
- Big boi 50% def buff like the lancer - NP just like Gawain's and Caenis increases crit dmg by 50% for 3T and Star weight - NP is now ST with the same effects to be a Buster Lancelot - 3rd skill buff is now partywide and increases something extra like def or even an evade to now be half support dps - 1st or 3rd skill increase Crit dmg like Lancelot - 3rd Skill is now 50% buster buff and extra 20% NP so now she farm Idk what else to put
There's so much wrong with her you could buff literally anything and she would become better. Make the battery 30%, give her a crit buff somewhere, give her damage against burning enemies, any one of these would at least give her something to do. With a single buff though I'd say give her 3rd skill the extra 10% battery and make it give the on-crit buff for like 3 turns raising crit damage for 1 turn before damage. Or even just a pure crit dmg.
I probably won't be getting her because it's unlikely I'll be rolling in Lady Avalon's banner. NP5-ing Summer Skadi is most likely going to take all my 1.5k Quartz.
Could probably be serviceable with a buff but as is...not sure what she offers that i wouldn't rather get through another servant. Like Gareth as a character but would probably use her normal version over this any day.
Look I mgonna roll for Lady A ONLY if I get Skadi in some minimal amount of rolls because 1 I like Wu Zet, and 2 I plan on being a Quick main, so if I do roll on A and get Gareth I get basically a useless 4 star
This was a attack more on the dev team more than gareth,and I completely agree on this,problem is,I suppose the same team who designed gareth did the same with proto Merlin,skadi and ibuki,and they are very good.conclusion,I guess this was a personal attack against our favourite doggy from the dev team.

She is a pretty bad servant though. You don't even have to compare her to 5*s, although you can since we're about to get a free og saber. In her own rarity you've got saber alter that can actually loop, suzuka who also has an aoe np and actually has crit dmg, Nero and her 3 guts, barghest and her infinite healing, not to mention all the free np5 saber welfares. I just don't see a time you would pick her instead of them or even some low* sabers
Visually i can kinda see your editing style developing there are a few things timing wise that could be improved but overall nice Audio wise the balancing could better and I'd go for a faster/more intense sound track for a more animated video like this Overall the higher production value shows nicely tho
Nah that's too predictable like Nikitich buff of a disgusting extra 10% NP after hit. She needs something BIG like a big 50% Def buff like her Lancer ver to be able to even solo or her NP (or 3rd skill) increasing her Crit dmg by 50% for 3T like Lancelot (tho, her NP dmg is so bad wish they made it ST like the lancer)

I did roll for her just because she's cute. I couldn't possibly care less if i got Avalon or even a grand spook NP2 i do not care i just want the round table puppy
