As a runner, I like something a little less soft but I did like the old Skechers Shape-ups for work as a nurse. If you're just standing, it can be nice to rock back and forth on a soft platform.
Hey, I just pulled the trigger on buying a pair of the Fresh Foam X Balos. Can’t wait until my new rides arrive. The Balos sound like they will be a real winner from your review. Thanks Hess.....
When are you trying the saucony endorphin shift or saucony triumph? Both are their top recovery running shoes with crazy cushion, stability, and energy transfer. Best shoes I’ve ever worn.
Thanks for the review. This generation's fresh foam x is really soft and squishy, I get that people go crazy to this kind of super squishiness but it doesn't work for me. Too soft it gives me foot pain whether I walk or run in them. Tried the new UA infinite pro, and I love that it has a more balanced feel, esp on my runs. The new HOVR+ foam, slight rocker and good forefoot stack works well imo (never thought I will like any under armour shoe, but this one is a surprise and took me off-guard 😄). You might want to take a look at them 🙂
Maybe I have to try them more but I also don't like it :D I tested the 1080 vs the 880 and I bought me again the 880 as a great all around shoe. This soft foam on the 1080 wasn't for me :D but again maybe I am just not used to it.
For me nothing so far beats the softness and stability of the SC Trainer V1. The very large More V5 shoe feels very similar in softness but the stack is twice as high as the SC V1. I wonder if the Balos competes in softness with either of those shoes.
@heskicks Thanks for the review! I’m curious to know if you’ve found something comparable to the New Balance SC Trainer v1 - I’ve heard the v2 and v3 are stiffer, and I love the soft squishiness and the feeling of being propelled forward. I walk all day on concrete floors and need some new kicks. I’d appreciate any advice.
I've tried a lot of shoes thanks to he's videos and have come to the conclusion that, apart from Altra, ASICS nimbus/kayano are really all I need as they fit me better than everything else and provide plenty of comfort. And those (Kayano 28) were the very first pair of max cushion shoes I ever bought.
Dont buy it , it is not durable and not safe , ive had some of these and i poked the midsole with a sharp object 😢 the worst thing in they domt have proper rubber outsole
hes i know you mentioned before your wife is a nurse. can you do a video on the best soft cushioned shoe for nurses? specifically for long walks and long standing. thanks!
Which is the squishiest plushiest cloud out there and what brand if not New Balance? I mean which IS the absolute plushiest squishiest comfort you can get now?
@@heskicks I have the very large V5 and it is very soft but why such a high stack when my SC Trainer V1 softness feels about the same (very close) to me and it is a normal sized shoe??? I did not try the v2 and V3 because I heard they were firmer than the V1.
Invincible 3 or these New Balance Hes? I wear my invincible 3s at the hospital as a nurse 12-13 hour shifts. I also like wearing my Yeezy 700s, very comfortable believe it or not my feet don’t hurt at the end of the day. I love shoes that are soft in comfort though so wanted to know which do you think is more squisher/softer?
I didn't like the v5 I turn my ankle in them alot stalk hight too high I think v4 are the best for me I just bought 7 v4 before they took it off New balance website haha 😄
@@heskicks I got em in true to size, I love them more than the Nike Invincible 3 which I also owned. Love the cushioning on the V13, wear them all day, everyday. I love soft cushioning shoes but these are like $269.98 in Canadian dollars.
I ordered mine at midnight last nite! I've been waiting all year too. I don't love the color but I'll rock em. I wear running shoes casually too, I love the squishy! Gotta try the Mizuno Neo Vista! It's a nice shoe. Thanks Hes.
@@MadKilla16 Yeah, I know he did, my point it, Since we can already see some wear after only a week then we already know how it's gonna turn out after some serious miles
I was worried about the wear on the missile too, but I’ll have an update after wearing a bunch! I have a feeling that they’ll last better than expected which is the same experience we had with like Nike react back in the day
I appreciate the comment but I am honest with my thoughts! Happy to be able to bring sponsored content but 100% my thoughts on here, they don’t tell me anything I have to say which is what I like
Those shoes are straight up garbage bro .... there is literally ZERO rubber on the bottom of that shoe its not going to last at all ... straight up schilling bull crap brother . ...
overpriced they look like skechers ride 11and dont even have outsole rubber see how that works out after 200 miles of gravely road. Ride 11 has a pretty godly outsole btw I can easily take mine to 2000km
New Balance makes some of the ugliest shoes out there. Maybe it's just me but that tentacle textured midsole is just too hideous. Nothing comes close to Adidas when it comes to design unfortunately.
