Berek’s Respite ring is op on this build - the range of prolif is about x2 comparing to prolif gem or gloves mod. And no explosions needed, cuz it melts packs beyond the screen. Nice corrupt (f.e. all ele res) is gonna be endgame version.
Played this last league, invested quite a bit and had a good setup. Be aware that getting the initial ignite off can be a MASSIVE pita unless you have very high cast speed to channel deathwish, a way to avoid stuns while doing so, or enough hp/defenses to tank through it and not get stunned at all. There is a reason he does not show the first few seconds of the boss fights. While bossing is SUPER easy on some bosses with a long set up time (searing or maven for example), other bosses, like the elder bosses with arenas, do not give you enough time to do all the set up needed and channel deathwish long enough to get a good ignite off, and if you let your ignite drop, youre pretty much SOL unless you meet the tankyness/stun avoidance requirements mentioned above. This isnt as much of a problem once you have maxed out dps gear and all awakened gems as you dont need to channel quite as long, but getting there can be a problem. That said, its still a decent build, but its not the best bosser to league start. I ended up moving almost totally into mapping, surprisingly, due to these downside. It looks good on paper, but lacks a bit due to the above. Due to the great iginite damage, this can actually do deli content VERY well, able to prolif packs even at the end of the longest mirrors. Should be able to do 80% deli with enough investment.
Played this as my first build playing poe for the first time and have to agree. In situations where you can get a full set of 13 minions to blow up on bosses it's amazing, but if not it's a pain.
"No Legion Gem in End Game PoB + Suppress Spell is Lucky = (paraphrasing) dogshit end game" - Ventrua guy who played a lot Maw in HC If I recall correctly, on today's stream, under pressure from some viewers, he gave some thoughts about you not diving deep to build or that it is better to suppress cap than go for some life mod etc. (he checked your 3.22, but it still applies here) Other than that, thanks for another fantastic build idea.
I dropped Polaric Devastation for Anathema because Charms have a very reliable chance to cause Covered in Ash and I can shove Punishment in as a third curse. I also moved to Faster Casting Frostblink of Wintry Blast Instead of Shield Charge + Flame Dash so I could save a socket to actually fit Punishment. I picked up 8% spell block on all of my charms suffixes and now I'm at 50% spell block on top of suppression cap. I dropped CWDT from Molten Shell because I needed to scrounge up another socket and I don't like CWDT guard skills. The 4 points I took out of curses are now spent to reach +1 Spectre, and I replaced Chaos Golem and Skeletons with 3 Perfect Dark Marionettes with Minion Life and Empower. I also got a charm with the prefix chance to gain 25% of non-chaos damage as chaos which is a tremendous boss killing boost I gave up the %damage per aura effecting you mastery to get one more Endurance charge because there's a Charm prefix to gain charges when hit. I want to get Stone Golem of Hordes (same HP more golems) but I also don't want to lose life regen so that's a hard choice I'm also considering a +1 +1 dot multi wand for level 99 which is a meaningful step up from The Scourge for raw damage and gets me a 4th Spectre and offers cast speed for my movement. I know I've deviated quite a bit but I'm having fun with it.
I just want to add that even if you spec your atlas tree for Betrayal, Jorgin can be an idiot and not drop you amulets or give you amulets with spectral wolf. In that case you have to buy a "of Jorgin's veil" amulets (veiled obviously) to gamble the suffix

Is there a way to push this build further ? Im at end game stage but it still feels kinda weak, especially vs Uber bosses, which is annoying for a bosser build.
Its my second legue and first time I got on act 10. Trying to follow this guide but tbh I think I'm doing everything wrong. I'm failing to understand which gear should I equip, the reservation thing, etc... Also PoB is somewhat confusing, always showing warnings since lvl 1.
As a new player i dont think this is a good league starter due to the unveil crafts needed i have spent well over 100c trying for the boot one and wolf one. It also just feelt kinda clunky probably going to switch to tr or continue the srs subtractum build
@gkaskavelis get more reservation. Or drop one aura for other.. the build doesn't really require HoP . Can work with golems and skeletons.. better stay with defensive auras and keep popping ur golems . Clear is not so awesome on this build anyway, you mostly relay on ignite proliferation
