I'm confused about Magia: is he only summoned by using/hard drawing Gale Dogra and Ultimate Fusion to bring it out? Isn't Nadir's Servant or Fusion Armaments better for getting access to BEUD than Gale Dogra as it doesn't cost LP, a summon (of low ATK), and is a spell (useful for Souls), and you get a 4500 body out too? You could probably use a Predaplant or Keeper of Dragonic Magic engine for the latter, which can fetch other cards like Ultimate Fusion, or Ultra Polymerization. I bet the new Blue-Eyes cards can be used in a hybrid DM deck that can make Magia even easier to summon since you can equip BEUD for free.
@@Goblin_Hands in some of my other videos, i highlight different ways to summon magia. Nadir is good but it's inconsistent and semi limited which sucks. Also it messes up plays sometimes by locking you out of your extra deck. Armament is solid and I've used it before but i like gale to be a body for verte which beud is not.
Assuming opponents have no hand traps at all. If these is a single hand trap, this combo falls flat on its face and can’t continue. This is still one of the biggest weakness of DM. Opponent can: Ash/imperm/veiler rod Call to grave DM Ash branded Ash soul servant Imperm/veiler Albion Maxx C the start of combo
@@mudyao of course, you're 100% correct. MOST decks have a choke point that can be exploited and dm is certainly a weak deck but knowing these combos is still necessary.
I’m gonna be mad at myself for a long time for not finding this play sooner. I don’t think people are fully appreciating what this means either. Like I was against the idea of playing Branded Fusion while it sits at Limited status, but now that I know this combo is a thing, It’s just no debate. Even if you’re a “Pure DM” player, it’s literally just 2 cards in the Main Deck, 1-2 in the Extra Deck. It has almost no footprint in the deck. But above all else, it addresses one of the biggest issues with Dark Magician as a deck. We lacked a viable “Foundation Play” (is the name I’ve given it) Dark Magician’s best combo is Magician’s Rod + Magicians’ Souls. Without Anaconda, these two card basically equal 1 single play. They summon a fusion monster, OR, they setup backrow, OR they become a Draw engine. Without Anaconda, it’s a subpar combo. With Anaconda and Santifire. Now, the same 2-Card Combo does all sorts of things for us. 1. Summons a DM Fusion (Dragon Knight) 2. Sets up Backrow 3. Facilitates Soul Servant Drawing 2 cards Like what more can any other 2-Card Combo do for us? It’s just an ideal world when Rod + Souls are able to get us to this gamestate. Lots of words here, the short version is, it makes our own combo pieces playable again.
Genuinely surprised this took this long to discover. It's consistent with how accessible IOC is and it doesn't hurt the deck to play BF and albaz, so I view it as a must know/have as well for all DM decks. I like the way you put that with "foundation play" because DM doesn't have a clear goal for the deck besides setting up a target banish once per turn, and that's not very good. With this combo we can do a lot more and make adaptations depending on the situation (ie summoning albaz to fuse with an opponents monster). Overall, one of the best things we've found for DM in master duel in a long time!

Another way you can do it is if you have branded fusion. Send fallen of albaz and dark magician to the grave to summon Lubellion use his effect by discarding a card then send dark magician and fallen of albaz back to the deck to fusion Dark Magician dragon knight. You still have to search eternal soul but still another way to get him out.
@@kingmahde1 Inconsistent yes but another option, there is always a chance that you get it along with eternal soul or a card that searches for it in your opening hand or it can be just another option if it presents itself later in a duel. I always try to think of multiple options just in case one fails. Even another method I tried is a fusion substitute goddess with the third eye she works perfectly with that instant for a dark magician fusion along with branded fusion, as long you have dark magician or fallen of albaz she will work especially if one gets banished. Just sharing what I tinkered with maybe it will help.
@@kingmahde1 I am the same way I try to figure out different concepts for a deck. Another one I learned with goddess with the third eye is she works the same in the graveyard so if you have her along with dark magician or fallen of albaz you can play a card like necro fusion you can get Dark Magician Dragon Knight out aswel. Truly a lot of different options. I do Like your deck from what I've seen so far. The toy box card kinda gets me every time I see it.

@@kingmahde1 not yet. I own a few DM cards already. As i have a old DM deck with the initial Circle and Eternal soul combo. But i would like to try Magia for the first time. Should i buy anything from the shop that will help me in making this deck build more easy? If so, pls do recommend Habibi.
I would definitely recommend buying the 3 of the DM deck from the shop. You get 3 soul servant, 3 IOC, and 3 magicians souls which are all URs so it'll save you a ton of gems in the long run.

I found an easier way to get magia out from your video use polymersation and king of the swamp or goddess with third eye since it’s light lvl 4 it interacts with toy soldier no need for bricky ultimate blue eyes or ultimate fusion
Thats true it the fact getting out ultimate blue eyes out and spending resources on that when you don’t. Also verte can be used for normal poly I have 1-2 in deck king of swap can act as a verte due to its discard effect
Let the king cook Love the new combo 19 cards are enough. You can play 40 dm cards but that would be too much for the opponents to keep up with dm's broken cards . You gotta give them a chance at least

Interesting play there. Sanctifire Dragon is so good for DM. Master of Chaos also works well with Sanctifire Dragon and you can even summon it during opponent's turn and revive Sanctifire and it can summon another with its effect.
@@kingmahde1 I use Lubellion to Fusion summon Master of Chaos using Illusion of Chaos and Dark Magician from banished/graveyard pile. Master of Chaos summons a light or dark from the graveyard so if Sanctifire is in the graveyard you can summon Sanctifire and if Sanctifire is out during opponent's turn you can summon with Sanctifire to your and opponent's field. Sanctifire can't fusion summon so it will special summon Master of Chaos if it is in your graveyard during opponent's turn. I like the different combos you can make with the branded cards. Imagine Dark Magician came out with Fusion support as good as Branded. It would destroy the Meta

@@kingmahde1 By the way, I made a deck using Dark Magician with Trap monsters like Apophis the Swamp Deity and Pharaonic Advent. Eternal Soul is a continuous trap so it works with this card. Whole idea is to search continuous traps like Skill Drain, Gozen Match and control the field. It was a fun deck to play with.
