Dude I think Horus + GKs is SUPER lowkey and can be a crazy good deck. I have one with GK spy and company and Horus as the tribute monsters. It’s fire too!
@@rdxgamer1772 wowwwww I didn’t even see that. I really appreciate things like that like when card art matches with other cards! (Last Turn, Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi, and Yamata Dragon for example)
Bruh his concealed dino deck goes hard. Been using it on dueling book and people are like wtf lmao. It’s so fun I even built it irl. Super fun highly recommend skilled brown magicians decks
I LOVE this. Thanks for repping me and spreading the word to the people! Always always always flattered when I see you guys taking the time to comment and say nice things about me! 🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽
Skilled Brown is the SPICIEST GOAT player I’ve seen on RU-vid. And I’ve grown obsessed with the format this past year. I SCOURED the tube and truly enjoy his content. Maybe many channels walked so you can run, but I’m happy he’s here.
@@Migstape This means a lot, can't wait to keep putting out content for you guys and growing this channel! Every time I post a video I'm excited to see what you'll comment 😅
This Deck List: 1 Dark Magician of Chaos, 2 Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8, 3 Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6, 3 Fusilier Dragon the Dual-Mode Beast, 2 Cyber Stein, 3 Reasoning, 3 Monster Gate, 3 Scapegoat, 3 Metamorphosis, 1 Pot of Greed, 1 Graceful Charity, 3 Necrovalley, 2 Terraforming, 3 Royal Tribute, 2 My Body as a Shield, 1 Mind Control, 3 Solemn Judgement, 1 Mirror Force
I made an extremely quirky Horus deck because I'm a noob, and had the same problem with monsters, and I also found a unique way around it with a 2 card combo. It can shut down most monsters before they have a chance to respond. But, my entire deck helps towards this as well, so one of the 2 cards in this 2 card combo is part of the main strat anyways, so I only had to include a few copies of 1 extra card.
Hey man only just saw your comment now! What’s your two card combo you’re running to stop monsters? My guess is horn of heaven + scapegoat tokens/stein as tribute fodder?
@@skilledbrownmagician2301 Stumbling is one of the most underrated cards in Yugioh imo. The instant a monster hits the field it activates, then you give your opponent the chance to chain to it, and if they don't you can immediately chain something like Book of Moon or Offerings to the Doomed. Stumbling is a hell of a lot of fun to use since it puts all monsters into defense mode when they're summoned, doesn't matter if normal or special, and this itself interferes with a lot of things players want to do, and can give you a chance to counter it. I've combined this with things like Gravity Axe Grarl so the enemy can't change battle position, lmao and have a backup card in Quaking Mirror Force, to put enemy monsters into face down position, and Swords of Concealing Light. I like to have Mist Valley Falcon in the deck too, to return Swords of Concealing Light to my hand so I can repeatedly use it. I also have a bunch of monsters in my deck that smash Defense Position Monsters, like Drillroid, Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke, and for something more OP and game winning, I include Mystic Swordsman which at level 6 can return a monster to the top of the opponents deck. I like to run the Ojamas to clog up the other side of the field and help start shutting down their monsters early, and I like A Cat of Ill Omen to get whatever trap I currently need. Royal Decree is my trump trap that I go to when things are locking down nicely. Other stuff includes Spell Shattering Arrow, to get rid of spells the enemy may have, Level Up!, Mystic Tomato, Sangan, Witch of the Black Forest, Summoner Monk (to get level 4 Horus to smash Ojama Tokens), and I may have had Cyber Dragons at one point, so that I could special summon them, and go directly into Horus LV6, attack and kill something, and go to Horus LV8 at the end of the turn for a 1 turn summoning of LV8 Horus. It was a pretty fun deck when it worked. Really, REALLY, stupid, lmao, but fun.
I’d play 2 mind control honestly, just one I believe might result too situational And I honestly do not like 3x meta and 3x goats, I tested with them in the past in some control builds (not Horus). I’d rather cut 1 goat and add one mind control
Real talk though: For every Stein, Tribute, Horus Lv6, terraforming, solemn, meta hand, there’s gotta also be a gate, meta, tribute, my body, Horus lv8, Horus level 6 hand too right? Of course a deck like this is bound to brick but do you have the math on the brick rate? I imagine valley makes going off harder even if it prevents opponent outing you going off.
Yeah this deck bricks lmao. I’ve definitely made edits to it since I made this basically right before the GFC 3v3 tournament. I realized that Necrovalley and Tribute aren’t too optimal in the main. But it does feel REALLY good to snipe their Cyber Jars, Tribes, DDWLs with tribute ngl 😅 I basically made this variant cuz I hate losing to that one random monster that outs my whole board
@@imcohencohen all my Horus players know how devastating Tribe/Cyber Jar/DDWL/etc. can be. Funnily enough, first game testing this deck against Randage and I sniped his Tribe in hand on my turn 1 play 🤣 felt so gratifying that the theory does work (just not all the time lol)
My man with the spice! Did you brick alot or felt like the Necro engine was a bit win more? When playing my Horus Dragun Turbo I felt like most of the time you get Horus out, it‘s game over 🤔
When I was playtesting it more a couple months ago, I went 7/3 on ranked. So it did fairly well but it definitely can brick. Pulling off either combo (valley + tribute or your typical Horus gate play) really helps but the games where I got off both you’ll usually win. This deck just bricks their hand so hard whether it’s no more Spells or no more monsters.
It can be, I saw someone playing it the other day. Sadly I don’t have the profile. But this could be a good project 🤟🏻 cyber steins were used in order to get our king dragun
Ideally you’re trying to get your Cyber off first before having to activate MBAAS/Solemn. Those are mainly for protection after you’ve set up your board with your reasoning gate plays or through your cyber-steins
Not gonna lie, Decree/Jinzo locking with Horus/Dragun feels good, but to get to this spice I bet he already tried that and found that Dragun had him covered for most traps anyways. Like, what Horus player hasn’t tried the Horus+Decree combo? This is way more interesting.
This is a good question, that I would have known all those years ago when I made the deck 🤣 With my profiles they are just my versions. I hope people like yourself take my ideas and build on them 😊
