*Fun fact:* In a Marvel/DC crossover event, Superman discovers a holographic message of Jor-El that reveals that Krypton was actually destroyed and eaten by Galactus. Although said message turned out to be false, said connection between the Lore of DC with that of Marvel would have been EPIC
That actually would have been really cool. With one problem. If the multiverses collided with each other, you’d expect maybe one Galactus to end up in a DC universe, resulting the destruction of Krypton on one timeline. Except Krypton is destroyed on nearly every timeline, meaning that multiple Galcacti would have had to make it through to other universes, which I find unlikely.
Lol the point is to show the enormity of destruction something requires to kill him. Any weapon lesser in strength is utterly useless. You’d have no choice but to obliterate the entire universe along with him just to kill him. A big sacrifice you’d have to make.
@@johnnyrocket1685not true, the nullifier wouldn't destroy the universe and galactus, just galactus. The nullifier destroys what the user wants it to destroy, nothing more nothing less. It can destroy the universe, but it won't just from using it on galactus
@@johnnyrocket1685that's not how the nullifyer works. It destroys whatever the wielder is targeting by erasing the target from existence. If your target is the universe, there goes the universe. If your target is your local McDonalds, there goes your local McDonalds. That's why quasar accidentally erased himself without taking the universe with him, he accidentally targeted himself. That's why, as the video explains, Reed Richards erased a part of Galactus and nothing else.
Yeah cuz Abraxus hunted down Galacti from all over the universes (ABraxus is multiversal), and Abraxus was about to kill 616 Galactus but Richards got the nullifier and banished Abraxus away
No, Reed did not use it to destroy a part of Galactus. He only threatened to use it. And here's a fact about the Ultimate Nullifier: It not only completely (ultimately) destroy the target, it also destroys whoever uses it. So Galactus can't be partially destroyed by it, and if Reed had used it, Reed would have been destroyed, too. He is not only vulnerable to attacks that target his nind, but also attacks that target his soul, as well. When Galactus was at one of his weakest points ever, he returned to Earth to consume our planet. He was so weak, his stature was only that which could be achieved by Giant Man. Even so, it took the combined might of both the FF and the Avengers to slow him down enough for Dr. Strange to hit him with a soul-searing spell that made the big purple guy feel the weight of all the souls he'd extinguished throughout the eons (it wasn't stated, but it's my theory Strange's spell was similar to Ghost Rider's Penance Stare in effect). Galactus collapsed into a coma-like state. There were many who wanted to kill the world eater so that he could no longer be a threat. But Reed argued against it, pointing out that Galactus was woven into the cosmic fabric of existence and was thus an integral part of the universe, and killing him would have horrible repercussion for the universe, or some such cosmic gibberish (this story took place way back in the early 80s, and it's been a long time since I read that particular book). So the assembled heroes somehow infused Galactus with enough energy that he could leave Earth and find some other world to consume. Reed would later have to defend himself and Earth at a trial put on by the survivors of the worlds that Galactus had eaten (they traveled in a HUGE armada of spaceships - think Battlestar Galactica's fleet times 10,000) in the "The Trial of Reed Richards" storyline.
I too have a weakness to my Mom's air fryer. One day she made so many batches of fried breaded mushrooms for me just so I could cross that off my bucket list. Thanks Mom!
Meanwhile, Thor in his 2020's series... Using Galactus as a bomb to kill another hyper powerful cosmic being and then transforming Galactus' head into is Throne Room
Technically he is his existence is very important to the this was stated by Infinity and Eternity. Also, I think Death to. But he doesn't eat planets anymore so it's all good.
If I remember correctly, he usually says he eats to keep The Hunger at bay. When they stopped him from eating, The Hunger, which eats universes, became a threat.
Galactus's hunger is tied to the universes need for energy to keep expanding. If Galactus dies the universe will stop expanding and collapse. It will colapse at an excelerated rate as it is being stretched like a rubber band.
It's a shame they did such a poor job representing him and surfer in FF 2...they both deserved alot better...I'd love to see them do a cosmic type mcu movie....always a possibility that will be one of the " 3 yr Saga plans "
The Nulli-fryer, it sounds like something George Foreman would sell. "Now you can make French fries! Bacon, and fried chicken in half the time! We'll throw in a recipe book with your nulli-fryer if you call in the next 15 minutes"
The Ultimate Null-A-Fryer 😂🤣🤣😅😆 Great job! You gotta love that A.I. word pronunciation. Btw... Fun Fact: The Null-A-Fryer was the prototype name of the Air Fryer... Or maybe not... you guys decide 🤔
Also keep in mind galactus is always starving and not at his full power all the planets he eats is equal to eating snack that holds you over until the next meal but not enough to completely fill him he is the very embodiment of hunger so he is always starving
Galactus death bringing Abraxus is the best plot armor, your enemies can’t kill you because your death will bring their death and destruction lol making you a universal constant.
"He" didnt merge his consciousness with anything, it just happened. One explanation is that such beings exist in every iteration of the universe and the last survivor of the previous universe is chosen. For example, fraklin richards is supposed to be the "galactus" of next universe or it could be hulk.
One of my favorite versions of galactus is whem he met ghost rider, gave him some of his power, and the 2 of them went throughout the universe hunting thanos, all while weilding a giant gun.
That was the "Thanos Wins" comics series. Galactus fights against thanos, comes to earth severely injured and seeks out help from earth's heroes but all of them except one had been killed by thanos. That was ghost rider. Galactus made him his herald, he became the cosmic ghost rider and the two of them went after thanos, unsuccessfully. Read the entire comic, it'd worth it I'd say.
I remember this Galen etc, they back stories him it was in fantastic four. Idk if that was when ghost rider entered ... They all mesh together, but I remember little bits lol 😂😂😂. Tyvm ❤❤😊
