This is so funny for me, Thomas is a close friend to mine and I've driven along in his GT3 a couple times, knew he was at the ring, but no idea it was with you Misha 😂❤
they just brought it back but for they didn't have it for a while, that's why the 911 R was such a big deal because it had the GT3 engine with a manual.
The last time I wrote about Porsche, people wrote to me that I was a fan boy, but this is pure proof that these cars are something very special. Great respect to Porsche engineers and the entire team who built these racing cars. Misha great flying Salute.
Normal Porsche models are poorly designed though and used to be quite dull with over long gearing and quiet exhausts. Let’s not even go there with the design faults of which there are numerous!!
@@MrCaterhamr500poorly designed😂? Even the base 911 or the base cayman are masterpieces of engineering and quality. And they progress to near perfection in the GT and GT-RS models. No idea what you are talking about. Even the new hybrid base that was just tested has journalists ecstatic and blown away. No disrespect intended, but the statement is just contrary to reality
@@blakewhite8831 you clearly don’t know your Porsches. IMS RMS Bore scoring Coked up engined Split turrets on GT4s Cracked chassis on numerous models Failing dual mass flywheels - why fit a heavy flywheel to a lovely short stroke engine, talk about limiting its potential! Cylinder head porosity Cylinder de-chunk Their choices of gear ratios has been very poor over the years, using very long gearing and FD ratios, usually with a wide space between 1-2nd gear and the other gears are then quite close, but makes initial acceleration from rest feel slow.
@@MrCaterhamr500 my family has had four of them...? So as opposed to your statement, I know Porsche quite well. As do 99% of motoring journalists that agree with me. How many have you had?
@@blakewhite8831 firstly owning a car doesn’t mean a thing if you are not qualified to comment. Secondly you have completely ignored the brief list of a snapshot of poor design issues Porsche models suffer from. Thirdly motoring journalists are dealing with new cars usually, and if you think they are always unbiased you are living in a dream world. You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
@@EvoraGT430 Can you go into detail? Respectfully, no lotus is comparable to a GT3. Unless your referencing the Lotus Evija X which costs 2.3 million. I'm sure there's a model I am unaware of you may be referencing here. The lotus line is huge. There isn't too much Nürburgring data on the Evora GT410 yet but that also is not a 1/4 cost of the GT3.
@@thomasferrarojr.9772 A high spec Evora does much of what a GT3 can do (just not as well), but for a fraction of the price. A lotus Elise/Exige is more raw and involving than a GT3, albeit more compromised for road usage. GT3 engineering is far superior but you pay a hefty price. (Source: I have driven all of the above)
Insanely gorgeous car, that colour whilst a bit garish looks so clean on this car!! You defs need to get yourself one Mate! New Buisness, New House, might as well get the new car too ;) 🖤🖤
Dear Misha! I have hardly ever seen anybody getting so much so fast in the flow when doing what he/she loves to do. Love your work. Thank you for sharing!
Obviously most people who buy cars like this will never intend to drive it in such a way or to it's full potential but that lap really does show what your money gets you. What an incredible car and lap that was.
What an amazing car. And incredible drive. I’m with you Misha. One of the finest models Porsche has ever made. Thank you to the owner for sharing such an amazing car. 👍
Another perfect video to fall asleep to. 😅 Smooth driving around the ring is perfect for it. Nice car and driving as usual! Would not make it past third corner sitting in the passenger seat with Misha without sleeping. So smooth.
Dude you can literally see the passengers reaction to gforces it’s crazy!!. I imagine with the new upgrades in downforce+wing+misha must be an insane experience !!!
That one corner just after the traffic before the yellow, left hander uphill, normally take that around 80-90kph in decent cars, you went 130kph, crazy grip. I watch all the speeds and lines for my forza games and that's always been a hard section and I've only seen race cars do that.
Haha I always think that in Australian slang, a moot (pronounced the same) is a certain part of a lady's body.. so the corner is sort of called "c**tcurve" which seems fairly apt
Cars like this are designed and engineered to be driven like this….. the behaviour of this car almost stock on high speed is incredible. And boy…. What do I love a manual gearbox in a car. Being one with the car and really feel the car. Credits to you Misha. ❤👌🏻👌🏻
I really thought they stopped making manual GT3s. Still cool as a paddle shift but with a manual it's basically one of the fastest cars you're still allowed to row your own gears in. Awesome for Porsche to still offer a manual on their high end, unlike... Most of the other big brands really.
