This years Marlin season rewrote the record books for us, we caught more Marlin, and had more insane action, than ever before. As I look back at the timeline of our season there was one week in particuar that elevated it beyond anything that we had experienced before. Fresh off the back of a successful NZSFC Nationals tournament we entered the first week of March with high expectations of a consistent Marlin bite off the West Coast continuing - what we ended up experiencing was beyound our wildest dreams!
In fact, the action over the first 4 days of March was so insane that we have had to break this episode of Marlin Tales into two parts. So grab a frosty beer, and settle in for Part 1 of a week that defined a season - the Start of March Marlin madness! #BuiltToFish
