Honestly i wouldnt mind The ruthless mechanic of Support Gems being Drop only being migrated to the main game, I dont have any interest in the difficulty by scarcity mechanics in ruthless but i really love the idea that my build can evolve on the fly with a POG support gem drop

honestly hype as hell we'll see on release obviously, but I love the league mechanic, Hades is one of my favourite games of all time. The idea of making the unique weapons super rare but also insanely powerful is also nice, at the moment it felt like the only chase uniques were all belts or amulets.

This might be enough to bring me back after the ugly thing that was the last poe league. I am a roguelike player through and through so I expect great things. If the damn servers don't lag on launch i will be very happy.

Honestly if i get some money im buying one of those supporter packs lol they look so cool but i am HYPED for this league coming out of kalandra and whatever the previous league was before been wanting to play but both those leagues never really caught on for me this new league plus all the changes and additions of vaal skills and new skills looks to be pretty fun

I don't like the resource system in new league .. it really screws over melee characters and slower, less powerful builds. Chris saying they accounted for that is only a half truth ... since the numbers will never balance out because you will always be getting hit; it's objectively worse than being a ranged character or one where you can 1 shot everything. And because of that, it's entirely a lie when he goes on about how they made it so players can CHOOSE to prioritize getting back that resource over getting loot drops ... which makes it horrible as you've just created a rich get richer system. I hate it, I absolutely hate it. It reeks of leagues like heist where they didn't think killing mobs increasing the alarm was going to be a problem, or in bestiary when having too much damage meant you couldn't capture bests, or incursion where having slow characters meant you couldn't complete incursions and get keys to unlock doors. When they make mechanics like this that arbitrarily or unevenly create failure states it's never been enjoyable. I have never played a rogue-like / lite game that had a failure bar. Failure was death, not getting hit too much or burning through it via buff choices. This isn't a rogue-like ..its flag football.

Everything looks really cool and I like the idea, most of the changes, however that "choose your reward" screen got me very dubious on how rewarding the league mechanic will be as a whole if 18 chaos is a "huge reward" for completing the entire thing. Hopefully that reward is just like a side bonus type thing and the actual league implementation is rewarding from actual drops.
