Maybe this is something we already know, maybe not, but I have a few questions. 1. When we get a special invite to a server/scenario, if we accept it, does it bring an existing character to that server? or do we still need to make a brand new character, we're just allowed into these "full" servers? 2. When a scenario ends, and we're allowed to join a new "scenario" can we select any scenario? Meaning if 2 people from different servers, both choose a new scenario at the same time, could they join the same scenario? (because the transition phase is so long, is it possible to wait to choose a new scenario/server till your transition phases match up) if that makes sense. any info would be greatly appreciated.
I can only assume things: 1) I would think only fresh characters, otherwise you could allow people to switch. Then again, it wouldn't make any sense not to allow old characters, to there might be a system in place that adjusts/caps your level or something e.g. you can only transfer to servers of the same phase your current server is in. If your existing character is further advanced, you have to create a new one or something like that. I think we will soon know this (probably this saturday once we have the opportunity to see it) 2)I believe so, but I think you have a serverpool to choose from. But again, this is just hearsay and what people have said on the discord/ingame chat. I can only suspect things, but this is also something that we will see this weekend. I wish I would have precise answers, but only testers do (if there even are any) so for now we have to wait and see.
They really need to clarify a lot of aspects at this point. Basically with your server being on of the first to transition, it's almost like you're the test group for the rest of the servers that are not there yet. Also if you only get to choose to join a new server at the end then for example I could never in theory join your server since I have 2 more weeks.
Yeah... I think this needs in particular needs to be clarified rather quickly, otherwise I can see alot of the population picking wrong servers or just waiting for people to go yeet it and see what happens... And with a potential timegate of 6 weeks, I would very much not like to just go ham and see where I end up lol.
map exploration progress not retained may be a problem for all the puzzles and hidden chests you find all over the place that are needed for season goals: imagine going around the same spots all over the map for rediscover all this things every 6 weeks
I think they need to add alot of QoL in that regard... I think Lost Ark did a very good job here. Have a regioncheck list that tells you what you have or at least how much you have so you have some indicator of where to go. Right now you just open the map and check stuff yourself... not really engaging content or gameplay but people will do it anyway, might as well streamline the experience and put the things in the game itself.
Yes, but only if your server hits phase 6. So make sure to check the timings before joining a server. We do not have a date yet, but the new pvp scenario should be here soon, PvE in October, but no fixed date has been announced yet.
Theres this food u can cook that sells for 10k energy links called yuanbao dumplings. And the other one that sells for 2k.. Maybe we can take that to the next scenario.
Recipes will persist (According to the post) but I did not know that there's a recipe that sells for 10k. I will make a video about items I would/will personally take to the next server/scenario.
Fragments are obtained from mystical crates (one time crates in settlements) and the starchrom lottery at the wishmachine. Calibrations will be sent to your Eternaland and you can choose to bring them onto a new server if you want.
In games like PoE, you can still continue your progress just 'off season'. These kinds of wipes feel like losing your save and having to start over. 6 weeks is not enough time for a lot of people to get to mid or even late game. I'm afraid their server cap issues and now the wipes have already pushed away too many players at the peak of the excitement.
I don't think the timeframe is a problem, alot of the more engaged players (not even hardcore) have cleared everything and are just min/maxing or even idling / playing different games at this point. That's probably why they have the "core" scenario so people can play between seasons. I agree very much though, the issues and very confusing pieces we have right now are not helping at all and should be adressed quickly.
I hope scenario with no restrictions truly lives up to it's name. I don't want no phase system, no weekly limitations, no controllers. I just want to play the game at my own pace, not the decided pace.

I heard that apparently the rest of the map is places like boss fights, silos, quests etc. Instead of teleporting to a different server it teleports u to s different place in the same map. Not sure if it's true but that's what I've heard
i wish the pve scenario with the new map would've come before the new pvp scenario, pvp is so a** rn without balance and when the game is laggy or players are laggy, time to play on pve server till then i guess.
Really let down for me ...i thought that the point of the wipe and season was for players to start "new" content .... and now they are telling that its just to start the exact same season again ...... not even a new difficulty ..... seems lazy and most likely gonna make the game lose a lot of players .
@@Wilky Yeah at this point ive just been min maxing and finishing my last couple items in my build. I been level 50 for a bit. And i would invest more time in the end game but at this point like why? And then if its the exact same quests and crap all over again with the same difficulty. I dont know if i really want to do it again. Ill wait and see what they do I guess.
It definitely needs optimization, both for the client and server. Sometimes framerates tank, Prime Wars/large scale PvP is quite messy because the server gets toasted and the rubberbands are real.
Why are people so triggered over the wipes? Some of the most successful games (Tarkov, PoE, etc) all have wipes and seasonal standalone content. In those games people are always very excited for the resets.
I think it's a two part problem: Firstly, the seasonal gameplay wasn't very well broadcasted, so alot of people did not know about it. Secondly, the wipe isn't so much a Wipe like in Tarkov, but more like a new game+. You get to keep most things, especially important things, you can kickstarts your second/additional playthrough. I'm just sad that there's so much convoluted information and misinformation out there and I really think it hurts the game >.
