This is part 2 of my trip at Barnegat inlet on August 1st. After the togging got slow, my dad noticed a lot of birds close to shore and a big school of bluefish began to push bait close to shore. There was a brief blitz right along the surf before the school moved to the tip of the jetty. Everyone caught dozens of cocktail bluefish in the range of 1-4 lbs. I used my topwater pencil popper to get some cool blowups. Overall, it was a great day of fishing with good action!
