What kind of gearing do these mustangs have to go over 180? Must be some tall gearing. That was a badass race. If they were doing those pulls in overdrive that is a very bad idea. Boosting hard in overdrive gears can fuck things up in a hurry. That is pretty damn fast to go in your 1:1 gear without tall ass gearing.
@@joshfiveoh Both top of the game and very similar to be honest. We've had 4 local cars all lose #8 cylinder on Lund tunes and we assume it's because they cram all the timing off the hit when rpm is low and engine load is high. Lots of stress on a factory engine. PBD ramps it in and still seems to keep up and in a lot of cases out perform 👍

@@joshfiveoh and robertos s197 with serious WR and every mod under the sun isnt just any regular s197, im yet to see any other s197s on this channel run as good as his or similar times. a good set up c6 would take him easily. a fbo c7 with a good tuner isnt even competition, last time i checked he did race a c7 and got pulled on pretty hard about 2 car lengths.
