INSANE RAID META B1 HAS ARRIVED! Rouge Analysis Breakdown & Skill First Impression & BUILD | Nikke 

She's good not exactly with the buff values nor just the HP values (still really good HP buff), but mainly due to her skill cooldown reduction effectiveness. The s2 Attack Damage increase is a straight up % increase to units that don't have those self Attack Damage Increase buffs (which is also one of the main good things what makes D:KW good even on units that don't have pierce). Rouge Buffing HP is definitely icing on top and does open up more team building in the future. She gets put above Dorothy & Volume in terms solo raid priority as B1 CDR and that alone makes it worth (should last a good while). If we get another CDR B1, likely Dorothy/Volume gets the axe next before Rouge. This is great for solo raid team building (minmaxing perspective). She's not replacing Liter though and D:KW for pierce in terms of buff value provided. But again, she'll open up HP teams more and should be better than Volume. And right now (before Rouge release), Volume is valued "3rd" b1 simply just because she has good CDR. Opening up Blanc from Noir also is another option as now we can put in 3 DPS setup. There's a lot more 'high level' things that Rouge provides to the roster & teambuilding that isn't as apparent if you just look at her skills at face value. Not everything is just about the amount of buffs she provides but this is more in consideration of 'compared to everyone else in the roster'. If we're looking at one team, she doesn't seem great and would not replace Liter/D for B1 to our traditional DPS. But if we start looking into Solo Raid Team Building 5 teams, then she opens up a whole lot more possibilities. Overall I like her for solo raid team building and would recommend. If you don't care about solo raid, maybe not so much. This is still not the B1 CDR Healer that I'm looking for... Maybe she'll synergize well with Cinderella. The HP thing isn't used on a lot of units so I'd like to see it on a strong meta unit in the future and who better than the tankiest and strongest Nikke in the lore.

So many people don't realize how much value she has just from being a B1 20s with CDR, the fact that she has 2 dmg buffs(even if they are small) and defensive utility make her even better. I was struggling with making team 4 and 5 bc of the B1 slot, she will make my life much easier.

Tbh I was kinda disappointed at first looking at the buffs themselves, since HP is so niche right now and the attack damage and attack percentage is so small. Also the damage reduction seemed kinda whatever. So this reception was more positive than I expected. The way I was looking at it was this: If her buffs aren't noticeably more impactful, then at most she'd kick out one of the weaker B1 CDR without noticeably improving the teams. Since we have 4 cdr + Tove, her value would be determined by how much better she is at buffing than Volume/Dorothy (tbh I thought it'd be Volume). What surprises me is that the value of the 7 second CDR itself is so great that she gets put above Doro and Volume on that alone, despite not doing all that much for the current top dps. DKW does CDR the same way, but she also happens to buff some of the best dps in the game in Alice and RH. I always assumed that that was the bigger factor for why she was rated so highly. At least for SR. In campaign the value of better CDR is a lot more apparent. Actually come to think of it I'm in an electric weak stage in hard campaign at the moment. She might be better than DKW there... Anyway she's definitely coming at a bad time. I haven't even gotten Rei yet... Edit: I kinda ignored future value in my analysis but that's also something to consider I guess. You never know when SU will give us the payoffs for these things lol

Anything that adds more thinking about the position of different characters on the team is a plus in my book.

She basically buffs the same amount as D but without the Pierce, with that alone she is a really good unit for buffing specially when there arent that much bonus damage or the team needs balancing the buffs (for example with blanc). But finally another B1 CDR with a easy to use kit

I think Rouge is going to be a huge buffer for original Scarlet. Not only because she's electric (You can keep the elemental consistency), but Scarlet does more damage based off missing health. So if you keep buffing up her max hp, not healing, it's the original Mast vibe. Then you can also ensure Scarlet gets the buff by putting her in the correct position for additional damage and damage reduction. Also, she'll be good with 2B as well.

The HP buff makes you super tanky and it buffs Blanc’s healing

I think she + blanc will work great without noir and you can use it with dps that dont really need max ammo recovery

Oh shoot, I guess I should have looked here for Coop players too. We've lost some from our team so it's been trickier to hit top 1% with randos. But yeah, I'm glad Rouge can elevate the already strong electric team, revive 2B/buff Kilo, and doesn't inherently need to be integrated to the bunnies/kick Noir out. While collab characters aren't the most popular, I think we'd all be happy to run 2B again.

Is it time for Isabel Sonic Chaser? Lol Honestly I've tried pairing her with Mast, Volume, and 2B to get as many 2B bursts as possible, but its still just not worth it at the moment. Single DPS teams just don't perform as well as 2DPS or 3DPS at the moment, but if you're just starting out and don't have full teams yet it's still something to consider. Heck, Modernia was a solo dps for me for some time (Miranda, Novel, Helm, Maxwell for buffs). If you're free to play, I'd probably save for pilgrim releases, but DEFINITELY add her to your wishlist for basic recruits.

I'm sure it's super inefficient, but I think Rouge opens the door for for a single 40s Burst 3, with both Killer.D and Rouge, you can loop your strongest burst 3 At least for none raid content it's could be really good.

I finally got all the Nikkes I need for the team, but I’m not sure where to start on building it out. Like, should I focus on leveling Tove, Leona or B. Soda first? Or all 3 at the same time. You mention bunnies SG team, can I just use my already built out bunnies as a base for SG and just build from there? I’m FTP/min spend so I don’t have a lot of skill books to throw around.

How do we feel about Exia + Rouge on electric team? Burst with Exia, use Rouge for CDR and extra buffing on S.Anis + Ein?

i think if u have enough units for 5 teams, rouge is 100% replacing noir, cuz 90% of noir is for blanc cd, her buffs are mediocre, and her dmg is trash for a b3. so ideally u have rouge and blanc for the real bunnies team, and leave noir to buff shotgun team without bursting her, giving other sg ammo and atk buffs, and contribute a bit of dmg as well.

Though pretty good I find it hard to imagine them being better than liter/D:KW in almost all situations. The damage buffs aren’t as wide ranging as Liter nor buffing the top dps sniper units as D:KW. Instead they have a wide variety of meh attack buffs and assist hp scaling attackers who are at this time rather mid. Another thing is rogue will set off blanc’s buffs but feels like it steps into blancs territory somewhat which will dilute there collective buffs. Main thing is whether or not swapping liter for rouge in the bunnies comp to also swap noir for a more effective dps will be more worth while. In solo raid they’ll help with more team comps and it’s nice to swap volume in tetra tower but in most other situations they seem like their not quite reaching top b1 level.

What in the world is he talking about that litter is actually bad for burst rotation. There has to be a real class on meta combat because that comment made absolutely no sense to me.

She is trash. But she could be the start of something new in Nikke, which most players will not be willing to gamble on.

I think the couldown reductions gets over valued. Yeah its nice and all... BUT she is basicly a brick in your team. All her other effects are really really bad and only useable in very long fights. Something you most time want to avoid. She not even heals HP, so you need a second heal unit to make use of her properly. People also kind of overlook the requirements here and think: "I can burst all the time." No you can't! First of all you need also enough burst generation in your team to make use of it. Meaning likely yet another support. Second she needs to full charge shots and her amount of Ammo and charge time is just long enough to be annoying and need a lot of OL gear stats to fix this! Having more burst is nice and all... But she pays a big price for it compared to other supports that also boost the burst. Only in most optimal scenarious where you have all the gear for her and the perfect team that can ignore her shortcomings will she be useful. I bet and I'm quite sure with this. That she will fall flat in testing. I would recommend people to wishlist her and rather save for the Annivesary unit that surely will powercreep one meta spot.

I hate how everyone is hyped for this... trash, I see you love her because of enabling more teams for solo raid? there are way more categories, PVP, Campaing, Interception, etc... I hate how everyone loses their head for CDR, if you don't have enough burst generation CDR get lost, she is trash that heals nothing, only max hp for characters like 2B that almost no new player from two months ago have, god, I'm angry.
