It's unfortunate that the video she watched is a reupload by someone who claimed that it is a cover in the title, despite Hweseung putting in his own upload of the exact video on his own channel (without the romanized lyrics and fake watermark) that it was his version of the song and not the duet.
In addition he joined Lee Hong Ki to support him with singing due to Lee's vocal problems as he used it too much. Lee is 5 years older than Yoo and he is not only singer but fashion designer, music writer and actor as well. I'm not specialist who's voice abilities are stronger but I prefer Lee's one because of slightly hoarse and a specific timbre. I always recognize it. And this song is really gorgeous ❤
@@Meenyseklee hong ki has no problems with his vocals. The only difference is that Lee hong ki powerful vocals are more developed over the years. He has more control over his voice and crazy technique on his voice. His a legend in Korea for his vocals.

I agree so much! I hope they do a comeback soon, but three N.Flying members are in the military until next fall. Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure other groups in their agency, like SF9 and the new band and dance groups HiFiUnicorn and Ampersandone are getting the benefit of vocal coaching by Hweseung. Particularly in SF9 you can tell that some of the members have gotten way better at singing recently. Also Seunghub is writing some good stuff for the junior groups.

Yoo Hwe Seung is an awesome vocalist - this track was from a Kdrama and was a duet with Lee Hong Gi (FT Island) who also has a great range. He was on a singing show called Immortal songs and sang a heap of really beautiful songs... one of my favourites was 'Mom'... pretty sure there's videos of his tracks .

You ABSOLUTELY NEED to check out N.Flying's live version of Flashback. At 3:50, there is a chill-inducing drop in the music where Hweseung goes acapella while live, and it is just so very powerful and absolutely unreal.
Wondering if you are referring to the clip from N Flying on You Hee-yeol's Sketchbook. That was the first time I saw him sing this song, and I was knocked out. I never saw anyone sing notes with all those teeth showing. It doesn't even look like the shape or width of his mouth matches the sound. I am speechless. Immediately afterwards, he looks almost bored. How is he not panting??
Have you played any Steelheart? Miljenko Matijević’s voice is unmatched. “I’ll Never Let You Go” and “She’s Gone” are two of the best power ballads ever. He’s suffered a serious stage accident in 1992 where a 1,000# lighting truss fell on the back of his head causing serious damage to his face and sidelining his career for a few years. He did Mark Walberg’s vocals for the 2001 movie Rockstar also.

For something a little older and less known may I suggest How The Gipsy Was Born by Frumpy from 1971. A powerful soulful voice a bit like Janis Joplin. Big in Germany but never really made it elsewhere.

Loving the content and break down. Suggestion for an artist to check out, if your a vocal coach, you just have to check out Matt Corby, relatively unknown Australian artist so he isn't going to be winning any selection polls but you'd be hard pressed to find more insane range in a voice.
How do we go about giving you suggestions? I would like you to review Gretta Van Fleet. I think you will really enjoy them. The lead singer def has a range and I love any band that takes older classic rock and makes it into their own. Also note it doesn't matter if you choose a Video or live performance, their stage presence and performance is amazing! Highway tune Lover, leaver Black smoke raising Heat above My personal favorite Age of Machine Meeting your Master but the list goes on and on. I honestly can't say there isn't a single song I have found that isn't just spectacular and as a band they have a wonderful history. Fairly new band as well.
I really like his voice, but this song needs the distinctive voices of both singers. Yoo Hwe Seung and Lee Hong Ki together make this one hit even harder 🥰

If you want something incredibly bizarre to review, check out Mindless Self Indulgence. Jimmy Euringer (aka; Jimmy Urine) sings in a way that will probably confuse you. There's a lot of offensive content in their albums, so you'd have a hard time making a YT video about it, but you should glean some of their work just for the sake of it. I promise you won't be (too) disappointed! Also, sidenote: Jimmy played Half-Nut in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol II.
