They WERE were Porsche engines in German tanks. All "Tiger" class WWII tanks had Porsche engines in them. @The Adventures of TNT When he made that statement about growing up in the 70s and how he thought being a truck driver was cool, and having a monkey as a friend, he was referring to this old school TV show called "BJ & The Bear", which ran from the late 70s thru the early 80s. It was a show about this guy that drove around in a semi-truck and had a pet chimpanzee (cheesy I know). But those of us who are old enough to remember recall this show quite well.

That point about him becoming more like George Carlin- I’ve noticed, too, that Bill and even a few other comedians like Jim Jeffries, they speak on social issues and put things into new perspectives that most people don’t see. And I really think that has something to do with spending so much time in this industry. They travel so much and see so many different social climates across the US and even the world. Of course we have the media and the internet, but even with that, we’re most directly influenced by the ideas of those in our personal lives- our families, friends, our own local communities. So we can get very stuck in our own views based on that. But they get to go to all kinds of big cities and small towns all across the country and hear all those differing opinions. I think when you start to hear all the different sides of an issue it makes you think a whole different way about it. You start to piece together things that most of us won’t ever notice. And I think they eventually become compelled to add it to their comedy cause it’s something they think about often when they’re on the road. This whole special is top notch. You should definitely react to more from it! The one about the wmba and the fireman mustache are great bits, but I don’t what what he calls them on RU-vid. If you find them you should check them out.
