We Indians especially Bengali Hindus, at the bottom of our hearts are empathetic to the situation of Hindus of Bangladesh...but at the same time we need to realise that our country is not a dump ki jisko bhi aana hai aa jaye... we're already really poor, have multiple issues in our system already....inn sab k baad we cannot and most importantly SHOULD NOT allow influx of even more people that too refugees in our country.
It would be good if these BSF had stopped lakhs and lakhs of Rohingyas which have illegally entered our nation rather than to stop thousands of innocent Hindus who had actually suffered atrocities.It's about immigration not the border.

Competition is really really high because of how overpopulated our states are , I am from tripura, these people are coming illigally and locals are suffering bcz ofcourse resources are limited . I hope this people do not suffer but that doesn't mean we have to compromise.
If India accept refugees then the refugees should be shifted to other states in India...but not in west bengal and north eastern states.... because already have huge number of refugees already
There is only one solution. The Indian government should warn the Bangladesh government to protect minority communities. If they do not comply, the approach from 1971 will have to be adopted again.
